Getting the Front Porch Wedding Ready 

We visited beautiful Creekside late yesterday. My first visit! We were amazed how beautiful every space looked especially after the devastating storm! Oh my word, unbelievable! All your bed designs are just incredible. Such a tranquil gorgeous setting. It was nice visiting with CeCe and Jerry. We stopped on a garden trip to NC from GA. Will definitely be back! Such a treat and great hospitality! 💖🌸

I agree 💯 Jenny. I have adapted the same idea this year. Every year I feel I grow as a gardener, simple but beautiful makes a huge statement. Big drifts of the same plant makes such an impact! So glad to see you are getting back on track after your devastation the other day. ❤❤❤

A fellow Gardener just shared a great tip with me regarding hanging baskets. He puts his hanging baskets on a fishing barrel swivel so they turn in the breeze, and that allows the plant to rotate and get sun.

Begonias are quickly becoming my favorite plants.

Any bride would love to have their wedding there. How magical. Hey weather is weather who cares as long as everyone is safe life goes on I been married 42 years I dream of a wedding outdoors but family didn’t like it so it was traditional. During church we had tornado warning when we came out the sun was shining!!!!

I adore mass plantings of both begonias and caladiums as they make such BIG statements in the landscape or in containers. I will certainly be looking forward to future videos of the transformation to porch and front beds this installation will bring. Also, I am so glad Jenny you had this happy day in your garden with Brenna and Megan before the storms and flash flooding descended on Creekside.

The whole area looks wonderful, but the urns by the front door are amazing, just picture perfect.

I absolutely love your simple design of each of the areas. The mass planting of begonias is going to be stunning. The little white begonias in the square pots are perfect. But, the urns are my favorite. They look like Wedding - just stunning.

I have a gardening dog too. He loves being outside and watching mama. Everything is looking good.

Alot to organize hosting a wedding and you have all covered. Love your urns and the way you designed with caladiums & flowing silver falls. Your large baskets on the porch look fantastic as well. Will pray for you folks that with the rainfall coming all of your plants and land will be free from destruction and you'll remain safe.

Right now I have a live trap set on my front porch. I have something (think it’s a raccoon) digging up my containers on the front porch. I’ve replanted plants every morning the last 3. Poor outside kitty is locked in my basement overnight. I know, first world problem. But it’s frustrating.

Wow your caladiums look great. This is my first year trying to grow them from the bulbs. I have 10 planted in individual pots. I haven't got any sign of life.

Jenny, I love your videos and your inspiration to get out there and get it done. I noticed in the last couple videos the sound track is off from the video. I planted the Double up Pink Begonias last year in a drift, and they were awesome all season! I loved it so much that I repeated it again this year. Praying things are getting back to normal and thankful that everyone was safe from the storm.

Made our first visit out there two days ago while visiting Charlotte from HHI. You have me convinced I need a Baptisa (went with Dark Chocolate) and caladiums. It was nice to see how you guys had gotten everything so put together so quickly. Enjoyed walking around and now I understand the layout a little bit better when you do videos. Will be back whenever we are in Charlotte and will continue to have things shipped. By the way-not sure who helped us but she was wearing brown overalls. She was lovely.

Love my tea olives. I have five around my deck. When we got the freeze back last year I. west Georgia area, mine lost all their leaves. They started budding and got hit by another freeze. I was so cared that I had lost them. They have rebounded this spring. So thankful!

Been managing the rivercane and making little crafts, like fish traps or baskets.. Well, I poorly constructed an archway... And then that lead me in to using the bamboo as fencing. Sat and made fencing until two this morning! Gonna gracefully sweep the branches pver my raised bed, so I have structure for plants, and I can cover them with shade or frost cloth much easier, and I can attach at a dozen points, instead of half a dozen. Thanks for being my morning routine with my coffee! Cheers!
