Omg me too!! My husband is so Awesome! I know he will finish it soon! I think we are going to get the outside done first since we have the summer to get it all done! Love my Man! I could NEVER do any of this without him😘😘😘
I got my collars from Premier 1. They are a lightweight plastic chain with a safety link that breaks loose if they get caught in anything, including each others horns. I know they work, I've had to go hunt around the field plenty of times looking for them, lol! As far as copper or dewormers, I never give them unless they show signs of needing them. Most of my goats have never seen a chemical dewormer and I only give copper if they look faded or have a fishtail. They do have access to a good mineral with an adequate amount of copper for goaties.
Thank you! I’m up in the air on what collars to get. I really like yours. I’m giving all of the Copper bolus because it’s been 8 months since they have had it. The worms I totaled agree with you. I don’t want to give it to them unless they need it! I just worry about a worm load after they give birth!
One gal I follow has done massive amounts of research on goats. Deborah Niemann/The Thrifty Homesteader. I've taken her copper course and it's excellent! She knows more than most vets, seriously.@@thepamperedpetfarmette7221
