Love, love, love notebooks! Ever since President Nelson started emphasizing writing down spiritual impressions, I decided to keep a notebook for any personal revelation I receive, and dictate any spiritual impressions that I get into a notebook called personal revelation. Makes it really easy to remember and reference later. I also put the transcription of any priesthood blessings that I receive for healing or counsel into a separate notebook called blessings (I always use my phone to make an audio recording of all blessings that I receive). Really helpful for reviewing and remembering what the Lord has blessed me with, or counseled me to do. I even have a transcript of my patriarchal blessing in it’s own notebook so I can access it and study it easily, including recording any thoughts or impressions about it. Just a few ways that I use the Notebooks feature. 😊
Thanks for your ideas. How did you get your patriarchal blessing in notebooks. Did you have to manually type it in? Also when you record your blessings, do they mind that you are recording it.
@@janetgaybradfield3978 you can record personal blessings for your own use. In this case, my husband is the one giving me the blessing anyway, so it’s not a problem. As for your patriarchal blessing, for iPhone, use the live text feature to copy and then paste the text into a notebook in gospel library. Take a picture of your blessing, or if you already have a digital copy on your phone take a screenshot of it, then push the little gray box in the corner of the screen. This will allow you to copy any of the text that you want from the picture and paste it anywhere else you want on your phone. If you are on android, you’ll need to make sure that you have Google lens, and that you have turned on the Google lens suggestions in the settings function in order to do the same thing. HTH
Can anyone tell me if they have been able to see the individual notes within a notebook in list view rather than showing the full notes. It is hard to scroll through and find individual notes within a notebook when you're seeing the whole note.
On my iPhone, while in a notebook, I can click on the three dots in the top right corner then click "Edit". This shrinks them into smaller groups of notes and allows you to move the notes around. Does that help?
