You are so much more efficient than me in the early stages of the game, in terms of workforce and cash. I struggle to resist setting up ultra-productive systems right out of the gate, when i don’t need them. It blew my mind how fast you got to glassmaking, discovering the new world, etc.
Awesome to see you back with Anno. I started playing Anno 1800 just a few weeks ago and watched almost every video you got on Anno 1800. Thank you so much, you gave me so much insight helping me to get on a different level of playing
Hi! I just want to say thank you! I’m one of those casual players and I feel so at home here on your channel. The way you calmly explaine how and why you do stuff is so nice. As someone else said thx you you I return to the Anno series time and time again after beeing inspired by your videos. Once per week is a great scheduel! I’m just thankfull you still want to make videos! All the love man!
By the point you reach the end of this video, I'd be selling soap as it's overpowered early. Game profit. Level up your people's happy so you can crank up production of tallow and pigs and soap.
Really enjoying this. Contrary to how I play, I always try to get tier 3 as soon as possible, make sure that my budget is positive, even a little bit, then move everything to crown falls and start over. I generally only ever do one new play through per year (I didn't do anything last year though), but I am totally going to hold off on playing until this map mod is made public.
Woo hoo! For beauty building, can you consider the landscape when doing so? For example - at the higher cape on the southeast corner, houses along the cliff edge would look nice. Plop those down. Then plop service buildings in the middle & cram as many houses as possible in between. Voila, you have a beauty build! Your roads will NOT be a grid either
So excited for this series! It might spark my own interest in the game back again, but I will nevertheless watch every episode taka! One or two per week is more than enough for me
Just finished the episode, I enjoyed! And even after 250 hours game time, having watched dozens of guides and play troughs on yt I still learn things from you, so thank you!
that is amazing! I've mostly been interested in playing multiplayer campaigns with a couple of friends and I'm struggling to find a working map that would provide us the same Crown Falls continent start each as only one starting here would make the game unbalanced
I played anno during the free weekend and love the game so I picked up the base game no dlcs. I can honestly say I struggle to keep things in the plus I think right around the time I need to make beer is when everything goes south 😩
hey, i realy enjoy your videos! Its very interesting to see how someone else is playing the game. i took one or two things from this in my own playstyle. i got one little trick for you, in case you dont know it, you can upgrade your dirt roads to brick roads with the upgrade tool. much more comfortable!
so i've noticed one thing: after you get items from Paloma or research institute it increases (or garantee) chances of getting same items from residents quests or tourist mooring. From my experience i've received second Bruno and Ermenegilda Di Mercante(legendary ship item) early on from worker or artisan quest. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Is 10x10 the best layout if you want to go from farmers to the investors/skyscrapers without having to movie basically the whole island ? I love 10x10 but it's always an issue when you want to optimise service ranges.
It's an easy to replicate modular layout that you can change up to give some variety to it is all. It's not efficient but it's not meant to be. Preplanning and knowing what you want where and what ranges to take into account is all you really need to know and any layout will work if you know that stuff.
In the big scheme of things, it doesn't really change a whole lot other than saving a few seconds here and there... You might be able to get away with one less ship on a trade route later on. Timing isn't crucial as long as you are balanced in the amount being transported.
There are a couple of different variations on this type of map that I linked in the description. This specific one, though I don't know when it might be available
some questions regarding the paloma call. i understadn you can pay with tickets in the grand gallery to unlock them, but are they then available for purchase by the AI traders? can you have more than 1 and spread them in multiple islands? and how do you "choose" them? you can break only a specific number of these unlcied characters? I was thinking of doing a sandbox play alone with AI and pirates in order to get tickers from expeditions and use the unlocks in the futuire where ill be with AI comeptitors. Thank you!
The items in the Grand Gallery are all available in the game from either traders, Research Institute, scrap crafting, etc. It's just a way to "skip" ahead and have access to some of the more popular specialists early game.
I'm trying to find the No Sunken Treasure Session on Nexus, but I can't find it. What is the filename I need to search for, or the URL where I can find it? Ditto for Picturesque, but that appears less essential.
Is there a mod that straightens buildings up when you build them on a slope? Because a lot of buildings in this game tilt when you build them on a slope, and it takes me away from the game.
Hello, i did put this map on mod file directory, and in the main menu, the mod manager do find the map. when i create a new game, the CF_Old_Nate_OW did not show up in the map selection menu
You don't install this like a mod from Nexus by installing it into any directory. You just subscribe to it from the mod browser menu in-game and that's all.
@@TakaRU-vid I try with the same seed that your game, even if the map's name is snowflake, and not CF_Old_Nate_OW, i have the same map, so all is fine, thanks sir!
