I just have one question: before starting training in an L-39, what ratings should you have and how many flight hours should you have logged ? I guessed it right from the short. I said it was either going to be an l39 or an A4. That was solely based upon what little bit we could see of the cockpit and the inlets.

Oh got it ! He meant UPRT ( unusual position recovery training). I wouldn't use ''upset'' though.

In aviation, “upset” means an unplanned deviation from the current flight state that puts the airplane into an unexpected attitude. It could be a rapid pitch down from straight and level flight due to autopilot failure, or an unplanned spin entry while maneuvering.
