I have lots of paints and they all have their uses, but Dylusions paints will always be my go-to. Especially in my Dylusions journals; on that paper, it's magic.
Thanks to your review, I ordered several of the colors of Dylusions paints, and also fell in love with them ... and had to order the rest of the line. I love the matte-yet-vivid colors, and the ability to write on top of them when dried ... so different from acrylics. Thanks for your great review!
I agree with you....these are so YUMMY! I am having so much fun playing with them! Need to try to water them down like you did. As usual, wonderful video and a HAPPY page :)
Great video Carolyn. One cool thing you can do is after a section of paint dries use a stencil on top with the same color as the background. You'll get a subtle image on top that is pretty cool.
I got 3 colors delivered the other day, and played with them immediately. I'm in love! The remaining colors should arrive in a week.....(ordered the rest after playing! lol)
Great play and pages Carolyn!! Very informative review as well! I've been hesitant just because jars aren't my favorite thing for storage but after seeing this I think I just might have to make some room =0)
I want to say it was worth the wait but I must also say it made me crazy to see my back order for three months. I have them now and I do love them mostly the colors.I am really careful when I open them because I feel one of them will find my elbow in it one day. lol Arlene in Texas
Those look so yummy! I'm trying to be good, I don't need anymore art supplies! The more I see em though, mannnnn....love your videos, just one complaint, they end too quickly! Love the page, thumbs up!!
Nice tutorial. I still haven’t tried these. They are still on my wish list. They keep getting bumped down. I seem to want every art product know to man. TFS
It is one of the Sharpies- there are several kinds but this one is my favorite. I have a link to it on my blog at acolorfuljourney.com/dylusions-paints-art-journal/
As always, this was a fun video! One question, Cafrolyn: Which white pen were you using? It looks fantastic with all of the rich tones from the Dylusions paint.
+Rose McGuinn not sure off the top of my head...but it's linked on the blog - link in the video description on youtube...acolorfuljourney.com/dylusions-paints-art-journal/
This is really nice. Good colour selection. And I love the stencil you used. I have a white gelly roll pen, but I find it doesn't write on paint as well as yours. What brand is your white pen?
