hey scar what do you want (home free cover) or boys2men or you just want a carbon copy this is home free spin on a song to make like them i grew up on boys2men and loved them too but this is HOME FREE
I love Home Free too. I go all the way back to the Sing Off. I just didn't like this version of this song. I'm still a fan and I'll still listen to their music.
Everyone has their opinions, covers are not to duplicate the original. Sean from Boyz ll Men arranged this cover. It's all good. I look at it this way your comments are to Home Free and to Sean.
Just my opinion but I never cared for the Boys II Men version. Home Free made me like the song. I don't think covers should be exactly like the original. Those who love the original so much they don't want to hear any other version. I get it. I'm like that with some songs too.
He's buggin'!! Didn't even talk about them singing without music. When Bro came on he already said where he stood. If he wasn't there, the other two guys would have loved it.
So you came in after everyone else and decided to just make stuff up? Cool. Let me clarify for you. Out of the three of us I'm the lone acapella fan. I'm the lone Home Free fan since the Sing Off. They are on the channel because of me. I didn't like this song. That's okay.
If you're not open to other renditions of a particular song, then stick to listening to the original! Even Boys to Men, loved Home Free's version of their song!
I'm late to the ballgame but I know where you're coming from. I like this song but there's another artist I was trying to say didn't do a song justice and I got the reaction you're talking about. Everybody doesn't have the same feelings- it would be a boring world if we were all the same.
Scar you had your mind made up from the beginning that you wasn't going to like this. Home Free put their own spin on - instead of just copying the original. And you are to quick to judge - try listening to the whole song before you criticize
Poppycock. Stop letting your fandom interfere with what you heard me say. There were things I thought should have been in the song and they were not. The end.
And we have to pause and talk when doing reactions. Otherwise we are just playing the song and that could lead to strikes and your RU-vid being taken down.
Why don't you try listening to it before criticizing. Besides I think I'll take more stock of Sean of Boyz II Men's opinion since he arranged this and he likes it.
We have to pause for RU-vid reasons. I didn't pre listen so you get the honest response. This is my honest response. I like HF. I didn't like this version of the song. That's pretty much it.
I wish y'all would stop saying I made up my mind prior to the song being played. This is my first reaction and my thoughts as they come through. It was missing some things for me. doesn't matter in the end. I am a fan of Home Free. I didn't like this one. They are only on the channel because of me being a fan since the Sing Off. Miss me with the lies.
The fact that I can actually understand the lyrics is a good thing, not a negative. Do you have any idea how many times I wanted to tell you to shut up and let them sing so you can hear the angst? "An element was missing" because it was interrupted far too many times for a rant. I don't mind an occasional interruption for a comment, but such long digressions halt the progression of the song and you lose the feeling. And I think terri was right - he had his mind made up before they even started. You are in the minority of reactors, but to each their own.
I'm back. For someone who professes to love this song, Scar, you disrespected it. Not Home Free, but the song itself. You didn't let it be sung, you interrupted it repeatedly, and not just for a few seconds, but for extended periods of time. You allowed the essence of the song to drift away, to not build as the song goes on. You also disrespected the others in the group by talking over them and not allowing them to finish a thought. You don't have to like the rendition of the song, but you owe it to the song itself to actually listen to it the way it should be listened to.
Fam. Slow down. We have to pause for RU-vid reasons. I was just looking for elements that were not there. You have the ability to interpret it how you want because you can listen straight through on your first listen. In this setting I can't. Again. I only talked about what was not there for me. That's my interpretation. Yours is different. Neither of us is wrong because it's personal.
@@Scarfinger36 stopping for YT copyright reasons is not stopping every 15 seconds to rant for 1 minute and a half. But you are right that we interpret it our own way.
It's a cover, not a replica. No one will force you to listen to it again. This not my favorite Home Free song, nor did I care for BoyzIIMen version. Part (most) of my dislike is the highly dysfunctional relationship described. Yes, IMO, the emotion is missing, but I'm not going on a five minute rant about it.
