There was such nuance to the show back then... subtle relatable interactions amongst the cast!!! Brilliant!!! Gloria Monty was a masterful Executive Producer!!
Yes, it wasn't just a soapy soap....it was pretty clever. Watching these old episodes is like seeing old friends. I didn't realize how much I miss them. So funny that 40 years later I know who everyone is.
Thank you so much Caren you just spoke volumes. No really you did. You my girl put it right into the center of GH and PC. All the people who have lived there for many a years. Also others who may have just moved there. All in all ..hell if I knew where PC was I move there too. ...but we all know its a TV soap opera ..so well I guess just wishful thinking on my part??? Hay maybe a real sweet day dream. Yeah ,yeah just maybe?? JMVHO! THANKS PC I'll see you in my dreams. Peace & Love Rosie💤💙💚👍🙏
I adored Joe Kelly. I've always thought it would have been nice to bring back Doug Sheehan as Joe, as well as LoAnne Bishop as Rose. They were both really relatable characters. I've always envisioned Joe coming back and being Chief of PCPD and cleaning up all this mob stuff for Paddy. His desk would have a pic of Paddy on it. Then, maybe, they could have storylines with a little more human interest and meat to them.
I can't believe how young ( relatively) Dan looked here. It's freaking me out. He seemed so much older later on in the 80's. He was already in his early 60's here.
Yeah definitely you see how different things were then. But things are changing and that’s good. But goddamn I want Luke and Laura together where they effing belong, happily ever after like he said 😩💔
I had a huge crush on "Joe Kelly" in the 1980s. My alma mater, Holyoke Community College is the site of the former Sheehan farm. I don't know if they were related. Massachusetts.
