This finishes up my final un-FC'd song on this game unofficially (I still need to do clean up work for the sake of the gold stars though because the fodder FC's were done long ago on a different memory card). This score was solid, and was probably the most annoying tier 6 song to FC due to the strumming part in solo 1C. Overall, took me maybe 25 minutes of attempts, so nothing too terrible.
I am still working on Bark at the Moon in the interim while knocking out the fodder songs. I would have uploaded my get ready 2 rokk FC, but:
1) The score was awful because I activated a little too late in the outro (Score was 299.9K)
2) My camera stopped recording, then started re-recording during the song, so about 4-5 seconds of footage is lost, and that's just sloppy. My camera does that if it's rolling footage for too long, and I knew that so this was my fault, but I will try to re-FC if I can.
Once I get Bark at the Moon, my Full Series Full Combo will be completed. I am learning to tap the solo in order to avoid the note counter glitch in GH1, but this engine is extremely precise and idk how steph does it; that said, I have hit plenty of cycles of the fast part, as well as 5 cycles with the slow part and the transition into the fast part, so if I can just gain some modicum of consistency, it's just gonna come down to me pulling it off in a real run. My fret pads are old af and worn down, to the point where my yellow and blue are slightly cutting out, so once I replace that, not only will the issue be resolved, but I will also have much lighter frets, and my consistency should increase.
Anyways thanks for watching! This is FC #635, so of the 25 remaining songs, 24 of them are easy and will take 1-2 tries, and the last is bark at the moon. I'm so close to wrapping up this project and am excited if I can pull it off.
Also yes I am playing without sound, I kind of prefer it actually. It helps me focus on my fretting and strumming, and has helped me significantly in GH1 especially.
