Ghirahim Battles 1 2 and 3 (The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword) 

A.k.a. "Ghirahim gets gradually more and more pissed until he decides to beat your face in with increasingly large swords"

Girahim was a cool villain. Sure, he felt like a sex offender, but he was still cool.

How I will describe Skward Sword’s plot to my grandkids: “I, Link, Heroic protector of Skyloft, tried to stop an unspeakable evil! But, a foolish magic sword, wielding MY magic sword, steeped forth to oppose me. But before the final blow was struck, I flung the incarnation of his master’s hatred into the future, where my Girlfriend’s word is law!”

Ghirahim was such a good villian and when I saw him return in hyrule warriors i screamed and when i saw he was playable i screamed even more

Minor TotK spoilers: Master Kogha (of the Yiga Clan) talks about finding the ultimate weapon for the Demon King in The Depths. I was SO hoping that it would be Ghirahim, even just his sword form, sadly not

Round 3 vs Ghirahim is one of my favourite boss fights in gaming. I stood up to fight him, loved how involved and precise the combat was. BotW and TotK give you far more options and power (and button presses being more accurate than motion sensed swinging), but me swinging a remote and Link matching it was just brilliant

When I first encountered him I had no idea what I was doing and not having a shield didn’t help. I was trying everything. I let him take my sword to see what would happen. I threw the pots at him. I kept trying to swing at him like a maniac. Only after a couple deaths did I understand what to do.

Ghirahim is my favorite Zelda boss(s) of all the games I've played(not all).

I would love to have been in the orchestra room when this was recorded for the soundtrack. I just know everyone had fun playing this.

Ghirahim on the castanets goes crazy

Funny I still can hear link and the attack sequences for him ZHING ZHING ZHING HIEYAAA! * jumps back snap sound darts come flying pull out shield takes it * * the shield noise* And repeat for phases hitting him the opposite drection of his hand that's glowing

I knew I wasn't tripping when I remember there being castanets in one of these phases

from small sword to 2 small swords to fists to a very squishy sword and then becoming a sword He really could not make up his mind on what he wanted to use

I forgot there are castanets used in the third phase lol I love it

The way this song goes I intemperate it as a 6/8 dance (especially at <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="167">2:47</a> when the 2nd fight with the spoons? starts) , very thematic for the way that sword fights are sometimes portrayed in media as almost a "dance" of sorts, and the parallel with girahim being demise's sword and link having fi as the godess/master sword. Very cool stuff nintendo!!!
