Graves was such an amazing portrayal of a wealthy power hungry pmc organizer. I also think that shadow company’s role in this game was very well done. The dialogue between the PMCs during one of the missions just after this cutscene is very showing that not everyone wanted to be hunting the 141 and still saw them as allies. Also I just love graves Name. Philip graves. (Fill up graves)

Yeh seems like soap is also alot younger and kind of the "new-ish" guy a bit like cod 4, how he keeps calling price and ghost "the/ old man" , feels like they've created a bond this game aswell ghost starting off as a cold lone wolf then becoming a mentor/team player, the banter/patter between them aswell in the "alone" mission is amazing, they play off each other well, gonna be sad when they get torn from us in MW3 can deffo see a lot of main character deaths in the next game to build the stakes, rip Gaz, Soap, roach(if he's included in the game) final missions ghost n price revenge on shepard/makarov (similar to Abu Dhabi mission in Mw3)

@@Deathmare235 yeh I thought gaz was gonna be like the soap of this franchise, but seems they've went a different route this game, seems they've worked together tho from ghosts reaction at the start of the game and soap is kind of like a naive but brave guy trying to make a name for himself, does well for this franchise of MW but when you compare it to the previous trilogy soap was a stronger character but I'm keen to see where they take it in the 3rd game cos the growth of the characters in this game is pretty good!

@@yonsetv5223 Yeah. The operation in Al Mazrah was off the books for them. He knew it was illegal but he was just trying to do good (unlike 2009). After the shadow company lost the missiles, yeah he tried to cover up his failure. When Hassan is captured the first time, Soap asks Where the missiles are from, in which Shepherd responds saying I don’t care about where they’re from, I want to know where they are now. Honestly at that point it was a dead giveaway.

at least Ghost survives this betrayal. but with this Shepherd when he turns against the 141 he is not working for SC but he is collaborating with them. the mw2 2009 story Shepherd is the leader of Shadow company and betrays the team but this mw2 it is graves who is the leader and is the one who mainly betrays the team.

To be fair if they only wanted them to stand down there is no reason to "detain" Fuerzas Especiales. If they even detained them, no time to stick around what or why. Also Shadow Company fired first

Pay close attention to the details: Graves and soap developed a somewhat friendship before his betrayal you can see in his subtle face expressions and body language that he didn’t want to kill them. He kept pleading for them to Stand down and when things popped off graves slowly raised his gun but The soldier behind graves opened fire first

It's interesting what awaits us in MW3, since the original ends with Price as the sole survivor. So either it will continue the trend of not killing off the characters (most likely), or Makarov will speedrun through 141 like a grim reaper
