The Ghost Dance represented a movement that embodied the hope of thousands of Native Americans who longed to have their land returned and be rid of white men. As a result, their movement was violently put down with many innocent Native Americans slaughtered at Wounded Knee.

and this from the Administration who named this country "The Land of the Free". There is no Native American name for Hypocrisy, but "No Man should say one thing and do another" & "No Man can tell another Man what to do, then do another thing" will still ring true, in our history, in the present, and in the future. The shame shall be on the do'ers .

Sorrow and love. I will always honor their deaths by inhereting their wisdom, and spreading it to those that seek truth. Their spirits thrive inside of my virtues, my actions and prayers. If they never died or suffer the way they did their wisdom may have never have been taught to the world and for that I am thankful to these eternal martyr's of sorrow and love.

I call these soldiers god damned cowards for the slaughtering of unarmed men, women and children. It's obvious that was their intent by them setting up their guns after disarming the men. May the power of the Ghost Dance begin working for a better future for the people.

@SkullCollectorz First and foremost I cry for my ancestors...Others I cry for because its sad that it happened. I have many tears for all...My great grandparents left Germany because they did not agree with Hitler or his followers...I am of mixed race Cherokee, Irish, German on moms side and Iroquois, Scottish, Italian, French on Dads side. What the problem of today is MOST forget their ancestors or never learned of them...That is enough to bring sorrow to anyone persons heart

I agree.. I was only trying to show what kisilona most likely meant to say. It saddens me knowing what happened to the native people of america.. Things would've looked so different (probably better in a way) if the colonists had accepted and respected the ways of the native american people.

This makes me ashamed to be of European descent. Granted, I didn't do any of these things, yet it lies buried deep in my conscience, serving as a scarred reminder to respect all people, even if they are different.

request and pray ---every human every soul either good or bad ,angle or evil ,sinner,demon , god or devil every one want to live as a good humanbeing --please save instead of killing ,spoiling lives,destroying ,sending under earth ,hells ,if some place is given far away from india .and some thing are done for better to improve the qualities of humans and souls . every one can live

The ghost dance is from Mormonism's manipulation of Indians. Wavoka, aka Jack Wilson was Mormon. The 1890 date is JosephsMyth's end of world date and the sacred clothing is Mormon Magic Underwear

gosh, and to think, there was something written way back in our past....like ahh.. let's see, what was it?....oh yes, the DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE that went something like "...We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness..." hmmmm guess that slipped their minds and Wounded Knee....simply shameful

Cont....They were striving to assimilate christianity ...they were a group of PEOPLE in desperate need of warm shelter, warm food and a little human kindness... and in the end, they were killed for believing ..... as it seems your video would like to shed light this horrific crime....think about removing those awful pictures, think about their remaining relatives today, have some respect for them...you bring NO honor in plastering their dead relatives pictures on the inter-net !!

Ethnic cleansing is wrong, no matter who is doing it. And two wrongs do not make a right. There is no "getting rid", this is the 21st century in a shrinking globalized world. The numbers are just too big. Energy needs to be put into finding common ground and learning to live peaceably with each other.
