Well Iv always as a ghost fan new something like this was coming you listen to his interviews as a nameless ghoul during MAYHEM festival era he talked about his idols being BOWIE, floyd, KISS these more theatrical bands. So I get it. But I’d be lying if I said I didn’t miss seeing ghost at small venue for rituals. I’d be a liar if I said I didn’t miss the foggy ball with chains, I’d be a liar if I said I didn’t miss the look and style and textures of and two. It was An amazing era for good heavy rock n roll Halloween music. And now their more pop rock which is okay. Meloria I hated when it came out but I’ love now cause it’s a good LIVE album and where I think Tobias is most comfortable. I really REALLY love prequelle it’s the mix of heavy and pop I like from them. This one is different will take time but I like it.

You missed a fantastic show. I was lucky enough to go see them in Cincinnati. It was well worth the drive. I saw them back in 2019, and they have not missed a beat!

Genuinely, it's has the same vibe, like Tobias said in one of the interview, as I remember, it's also about manipulative type of relationship. Like, oh, yeah, I've always be somewhere near u, God never answered, but u just can call me (in every possible ways of meaning), but it's not so good for you in reality. He provide u in the darkness, taking your hand, pretending that he carried a light in other hand. Sorry for shitposting and my English, haha, but in conclusion: it's not a sequel, but has the same meaning (almost)

Yeah on "Ceremony and Devotion" the mask almost buries his voice a little low in the mix. The studio recordings for "Impera" showcased the best vocals yet from Tobias, which never quite seem to come out live under the mask.

@@EmeritusIV616 He said he believe his best recordings wrte from 1 album. And said his live vocals are never quite as good. As I said before , the mask tends to echo or obscure his vocals live. Where as his vocals without a mask are phenomenal! No hate here. Just comparing the two.

Thank you, Barbara for that as it better explains what I meant. When I listen to older live recordings, Tobias' voice is a bit muffled and the overall sound is not quite as satisfying as the original studio recordings. I will say that, for me, these recordings from the Ministry exceed the studio tracks somehow, sonically. Funny, huh?
