The RX 580 just refuses to die lmao. To the point where developers of Alan Wake 2 are currently scrambling to optimize their game for this particular card because, if you look at the Steam Hardware survey, there are still tons and tons of people still using this card. Not working to optimize for this card is basically them leaving money on the table kek

alan wake 2 is full playable on rx 580 on linux, i completed it 3 months ago on low settings + fsr q = 30 fps (forest) & city = 50-60 fps

God of war , horizon zero dawn / forbidden west , Spiderman remastered/miles. Days gone . They are good optimized game . But last of us was not optimize.so it's not rare

@@w-xing5250 no it's just the truth. Use DXVK with God of War to get rid of the stutters and framedrops. It will stutter more at first as it builds the Shader Cache but afterwards it will be smooth.

yeah, but these tests are incorrect. Testing with current gen setup and just swapping old gpu does not do justice. If you are running on old cpu and old ram alone, you will get far worse performance than these tests

@@rzultamorda no one puts current gen parts when building or buying pc and then dropping 8 year old gpu in there. People with old gpus will also be running with other old parts and performance will be very different. People seeing these benchmarks will think they can reach these set bars, but they won't. Does this make sense ? But sure, if phrasing is wrong. I can add that numbers in these tests are not a lie

probably water cooled or an advanced air cooling system. you definetly shouldnt be getting above 70. get new thermal paste on your card before you fry it 85 is dangerous
