It looked amazing, I asume all the particles and faded effect on him helped out hiding any uncanny valley feeling because it looked REAL

Fascinating! Absolute in awe of the love, care, and dedication went behind the scenes to create Ghostbusters Afterlife and give us a final goodbye to the one and only Egon Spengler! I look forward to the future of Ghostbusters!

This was truly amazing and unexpected!

I don’t know why but I just watched Ghostbusters: Afterlife. I think it was a refreshing take on a new chapter and most definitely better than the female cast version. But as a kid growing up having every toy and watching every cartoon episode and being attached in this universe, when Egon came back in CGI, it was a tearjerker for sure. What a tribute to the late Harold Ramis.

impressively, recreated egon's head with some scenes from the first ghostbusters movies. then, using the last actual pictures of harold, to create a version of egon that would look today.
