Covering the basics of the revised electronics using the recommended parts and schematics designed by @MichaelRajotte (aka "gpstar" on GBFans.com), which also includes all software development for the Arduino's in use. This is the result of a community effort to create a more full-featured set of controllers for the Hasbro Spenger Series Proton Pack and Neutrona Wand. All stock switches, LED's, and buttons are left intact while several components are modified for a better visual experience (eg. the internals of the cyclotron) and opens up more possibilities for addons and mods such as smoke effects and improved audio output. While I have taken several liberties with the implementation to meet my personal preferences in my final pack, the core functionality would not have been possible without the extensive work put in by Michael from January through March of 2023 to develop this solution.

Some items not covered directly in the video:
1. I opted to use the toggles within the cyclotron (under the lid) to control the smoke effects. One cuts all power to the smoke components, while the other just tells the Arduino to not trigger the effect nor use the blower fan under the N-Filter.
2. The smoke effects are a homegrown solution which followed the pattern of using a vape pen tank and mini air pump for delivery. This is stored in the original battery compartment for easy access to refill with "smoke juice".
3. The cyclotron cake uses a 35-pixel LED ring for the spinning effect. This pattern changes based on the mode (1984/2021) by either doing a 4 segment or chase spin, respectively.
4. During the overheat sequence, the internal LED's on the cyclotron panel will begin lighting up faster in their sequence until all lights are blinking then go solid before the pack vents. Many of the timings for the overheat sequence and the frequency of smoke effects can be configured in the software.
5. By default, the wand will allow continuous firing in levels 1-4 while only the "full stream" level 5 will cause the overheat and vent sequences. Again, this can be configured in software for the pack.
6. All sound effects will be made available with the software, along with a single music track which has been granted by the artist. So at the very least the solution (once published) will have everything you need to get your pack up and running.
