Wu block is the last of a dying breed we once knew as hip hop in the 90s era still making music till dis day I respect Wu tang and d block to the fullest
@ 6:35Ghost energy change with the quickness when Westwood ask him about Cuban Linx album😬 you can tell ghost wants to be recognized has his own entity with his own classic albums and rightfully so he's the greatest out of Wu-Tang ghost is actually in my top five all-time MCs!
Tim Westwood is 54 years old man, been at the top of his game for 18 years, he used to get 2 million listeners every friday and saturday BEFORE internet radio. His mixtapes have sold more units than any other UK hip hop artist, and he don't even rap! He is the first port of call to any US rapper tryin to promote an album in the UK. He live and breathe Hip Hop. Man is a LEGEND. And besides, who needs to ask questions when Killah look like he could talk aaaaallllll day!
Like ghost face just mentioned some of these nowadays kids wasn’t even born or was in their diapers while their parents were playin wu tang back in 93 94 me i wasn’t even in my diapers no more. When 36 chambers came out. And I still recall like it was just yesterday when i witnessed the cover of that album. That era was gold!!
Much respects to Ghostface and the rest of the Wu.It hurts that these fucken gimmicks get all the shine and glory that they don't deserve while talented rappers are usually are over looked by the mass. But the good news is that Hip Hop is Progressively returning back to the mainstream scene. We got J Cole,Jay Electronica,Elzhi,Kendrick Lamar,Yelawolf,Pac Div,An0maly (for those who don't know him) and others to come the way.
I feel great full to be able to live my life in the era of when hip hop was thriving and it was about lyrics and putting words together. I learn to bang with ice cube and psycho realm, and Raekwon and ghost showed me how to sniff a gram. Peace to ghost and rae, and Golden arms. Street movie makers.
Do you hear the passion in which this man is speaking about his music, his culture, his fans. This is what is missing now in Hip-hop. If this new breed of rapper honestly loved what they did the way he does the music would be a 100x better. There's no love in todays music. Its all fast food, in and out within an hr. You think todays artist (except Kanye) actually go away to write, so that they can have a clear mind and put out a quality product? HELL NO! They write on their BB while playing PS3
Apollo Kids was a mixtape? o_0 that was one hell of a fuckin mixtape. my fav ghost album was the pretty tony album and I put Apollo Kids up there with it. That shit is fire. Blackout! 2, OB4CL2, Pretty Tony Album & Apollo Kids stay in rotation :)
A lot of people may not get what his saying about going to Bahamas with Rae, to process his thoughts and ideas to write a album or loving rain and water. However as his a Taurus, who's natural sign is Earth we are free spirits who sometimes just need to get away for our creative process and it brings the best out in us.
