Joe that's almost some Buddhist type shitz. I think about that s*** all the time. Almost everything on this planet serves a purpose. But I always think about the snake in the lotus. I'll kill the s*** out of a locust grasshoppers or anything that only eats and does not contribute. Sometime that's it's necessary. Man's a hard working perfectionist and will not settle for anything less than the best when it comes to putting out music and not just that he's a perfectionist it's that he's maintained that stance for decades. How did I miss this gem??? Ghost dropped so much wisdom in this y'all don't even know! Lol.. I remember back in the day, my brother told me him and Raekwon were Muslims but I didn't really believe it. I thought it was just another using the Islamic stuff for rhymes or 5%ers. But he was on the DL with it, but he really went in this interview lol. Kinda tripped me out cause he sounded just like my father talking about spiritual guidance and the youth, wow. Listening to Wu tang for 2 years and replaying and feeling their tracks, I never had such respect towards ghost because he was rapping all kinds of absurd things all the time. Purified thoughts and this interview changed my respect towards him. I just hope more rappers realise and study what ghost did and stop faking shit. Ghost and Rae are very special people. I love all the Wu, but as other posters have said, with Ghost and Rae, not only are they born storytellers who can talk about anything and be compelling, they are also wise, level-headed, empathetic, experienced people who command respect from the first word they utter. And their trust in each other is touching. I've always found it crazy that the first voice you hear rapping on ironman is Rae's, and the fourth or fifth song I think is a Rae solo track- on a ghostface album! But it just goes to show their lack of ego and their respect for each other's talent. Plus back in the nineties they obviously knew how good they were, so no need for insecurity.
