the game looks great. my only nitpick with it is the viewmodel for how he holds the katana now. I preferred the more horizontal grip from the first game personally.

Thanks for the great review, very thorough and gives us a good idea of what to expect. Sounds like they really expanded on every aspect of the first game. (And don’t worry I saw the 5 but I heard the 9 🤫)

Nice review and I absolutely feel, that you understood Ghostrunner the same way I do. Ghostrunner 1 is a masterpiece in my mind and from hearing in this review, Ghostrunner 2 does not different. Actually Ghostrunner 1 turned out be one of my all-time favorites.

Looks pretty interesting. Though, I can't see playing something like this for 20+ hours. Maybe a few hours... But that's just me. Might check it out when it cheap

I absolutely hated the laser boss from the first game. If there's anything like that in this game, I want no part of it.

I have not finished the game but that elevator boss was a PTSD moment for me. So far, there are boss encounters, like the AI dude who have the same feel as the elevator boss but not nearly as difficult. Although, I felt some intense euphoria when getting through the elevator and into the next section of the game.

Is it still obscenely hard? In the first game i couldn’t even get past the first level…And i do play a lot of punishingly hard games like ninja gaiden and more modern titles. Played on ps5.

Beware, the PC version still has awful shader compilation stuttering no matter what your PC specs are! The first game is still a mess, the demo for this was a mess. Please don't support this until the game gets patched and fixed!
