Ghoultown is a gothabilly band from Texas, specializing in a mixture of classic americana and gothic music and dark, horrifying lyrics!! I do not own the rights for this song or photos or video clip ,. I just subtitled it! Enjoy!
Having battled depression for the better part of three years now, this song has proven to be one of my closest allies when things go south. It evokes preseverance in me like few other things can. It was on my mind on my last stand. I could keep fighting because of it, if only to spite the common adversaries. Thank you Ghoultown.
Ive been in heavy depression since born, Not a problem man, you could have been born in a suburb of ..., wherever , with no parents , no one , no papers ..,, ALONE..., in this world..., That makes me say this to my issue : 🖕 It’s hard to feel not thankful , for your life , But always think that it could have been much worse , And not knowing even why..,, Nice music lad!, 🙏🤘🖕 XXX
@Savanna the banana Finally after couple more weeks Dave keeled over dead. Steve being a good bud (and starving), wouldn't let him rot. When he was done he turned back. Must be some moral to this story.
If you live in USA you can buy from their website Ghoultown.com Or if you live like me, outside the USA then go to store.cdbaby.com and search for Ghoultown ;)
The first thing I noticed that I kinda liked was the front man ("Count Lyle" Blackburn) seems like he couldn't decide whether to dress like Rob Zombie or Lemmy...so he picked both...then my little sister was watching a Finding Bigfoot type show and they interview like 30 "experts" in each episode...including famed cryptozoologist Lyle Blackburn...still in his outfit...fucken guy hunts mythological animals...mostly the chupacabra...
Been listening to them since 2009 off a fun sample album out i got over at the Church of Dallas. I always recommend this group to open people's ideas to music hybrids

:D I laughed on this Nickelback comment as it brought back some funny memories. Several years ago I have joined some friends who said that they want to make a band and they needed a guitarist. They were all fans of different genres but agreed on that they would play Nickelback as a common point. The band ended up playing this Ghoultown song and finally we never learned any Nickelback songs :D
