I like ayton as a player a lot but man I remember watching this series and looking back on these highlights being reminded how Giannis just made him look like he was 100 lbs they way he would just move him in the post. Giannis is truly a freak of nature, unbelievable strength and speed
the pressure giannis had in this playoffs is unmatched by anything else in basketball history... i got into nba late staring in the 2018 offseason, i watched giannis and westbrook highlights. i became a fan almost instantly thanks to those 2!
Watched NBA for 4 years "No one has ever been under that kind of pressure" How do you think Lebron felt in his first final considering he'd spent his entire career to that point being called the new Jordan? For the record I'm a huge Giannis fan, second favorite player of all time.
@@reluctantsocialist2670 huge gianni’s fan too and bro is trippin. jordan’s finals against the jazz in his last chip? lebron vs the warriors in ‘16? i mean it’s up there but definitely not the modt
@@reluctantsocialist2670 dude im obsessive and became a nba mega fan, i've seen almost everything available to watch from the 1960s onward... my og post has mostly to do with how the media had completely been disrespecting giannis, not to mention even his competition out of pure jealousy lmao. the injury, having inconsistent teammates, being #1 on off. and def. giannis had alot to do!
@@heatnix3223 Don't get me wrong, I understand the pressure he's constantly under, it's just few players will ever experience the pressure Lebron has played his entire career under
Probably goes without saying but I feel like body language and effort doesn’t get spoken about enough in basketball. Look at the way this guy demands the ball, plays with a kind of energy and pace in every possession, aggressive, he wants to be involved in every possession whether he’s on the ball/ setting a pick or running in for an offensive rebound, his defense. He’s always looking to exploit mismatches, the mean mugging, the venomous dunks. He wants it. Off the court he may be a nice guy but on the court he wants to take your heart. Most of these things you can’t teach, you’re either built like that or you’re not.
Giannis he's incredible, he make real his dream. "MVP player in the final NBA" Giannis he have said this when him was an little dreamer but now hes is "Greek Freak"of NBA.
Re-watching this in 2023 . I never realized how good Giannis' court vision was or maybe I just forgot but he played crazy in this finals series. I remember watching and seeing the things hes does is just crazy.
Most definately, those fans didnt realise they helped him along. They took the pressure away from the moment, he didnt think more of the free throws, he was just using the counting as “music” while doing his routine. While I watched that Series I was wondering when the Suns fans would actually figure it out 😂😂
Such an inspirational story to kids around the world. The man was literally selling sunglasses on the streets of greece before learning how to play basketball. Being down 2-0 in this series was nothing compared to how bad his family situation was before he started to play basketball. Giannis has the mental toughness and strength to keep fighting no matter the score. Shows kids that if you work hard and put the time in, you can be successful at your craft.
Ik most will forget but the pressure that was on this man to win was insane!!! After 2 mvps and dpoy analysts and media were negating him an opportunity to get a 3rd mvp due to lack of playoff success! Its amazing how he was able to play thru injury and absolutely dominate on offense and defense! Giannis , lebron and Mj have got the most impressive finals runs I've ever witnessed!
that has to be the greatest finals performance of all time that shit is ridiculous. he did that single handedly damn near i mean talk about carry the team. and just dominated with demoralizing blocks and man just epic thats the best ever series ever played has to be.. did anyone hear that stat 2 quarters in the finals with a 20+ point quarter. it hadnt been done in 23 years he did it 2xs in finals. my respect to giannis that dude is a beast i dont see how any player ever to play could beat him 1 on 1. they barely can hold him 3 on 1.
@marshmellosweats1302 Whens the last time you've seen a guy play through a hyper extended knee injury and average 35pts 13rebs 5ast 2blks on 62%fg in the FINALS?!
18:35 is the shot. That's the one. He doesn't need to hit 3s. If he can just master that little one-foot Dirk fadeaway from 10-12 feet, he's unstoppable.
He's the only player id say you'd have to triple team in order to slow him down. Let everyone else on the bucks try and step up and be constantly great. One on one or double teams and traps wont stop this guy! Wall up, and send three!
Aku sangat bahagia ketika bisa melihat orang jago seperti giannis bermain basket dan stephen c dan Clay T dan L James dan MJ dan Kobe dan MO dan N Saputra dan NS dan cathreen cakep bngt
When shooting free throws you get 10 seconds to shoot, there was a lot of controversy with Giannis’ free throws that post season and that he was taking too long to shoot them, and the fans started to countdown to try and throw him off his routine or get the refs to call the violation, even tho they would count pretty fast. Giannis isn’t a great ft shooter so as fans they were trying to make him even more uncomfortable whenever he’d get to the line.
