Probably the most meaningful NBA finals i've ever witnessed. -Klay coming back after not playing for 2 years due to injury, and won. -GPII struggling to have a spot from any nba team, got a spot in warriors, and won. -Wiggs being called "bust" for his entire NBA career, delivered and played well in finals, and won. -Steph Curry being laughed at for not having an NBA Finals MVP, finally had one. Lot of haters got their mouth shut.
Amen! And Wiggins played well throughout the playoffs. Relieving klay of his defensive duties. Klay even said himself he glad wigs there to do his old job.
Very well said my friend, it was a privilege to watch curry and his teammates do their thing and like you said, Shut the Haters Mouths shut with cement nails. Loved every minute of it. It's like beating up a bully.
The fact that he did this versus the #1 rated defense, AND the Defensive Player of the Year at the point guard position is utterly ridiculous. People were praising this Boston defense as the greatest defense since the 2004 Pistons. And Curry just dismantled it.
Watching a 6’3 180 lb guard dominate the game 30 feet from the basket. Curry is the only player to do that in NBA history. He does it with elite shooting, ball handling & passing. He leads and opens up the floor for his teammates. Steph Curry is great man.
Looking at this as a whole... I already knew this but this man is absolutely ridiculous. His skill set has never been seen before him and will never be seen again. Truly a great talent. Already on my mount Rushmore.. he's different... Like Jordan. Anyone denying that just don't know basketball. The way he dominates offensively is so demoralizing to the opponent. You can see the life just go out of Boston after game 4. He doesn't get enough credit for his screens and off ball movement that creates space for his teammates that makes everyone around him better. Not only is he an offensive weapon himself but he can make players like Andrew Wiggins all stars and champions just by being present on the court
31.2 ppg, 6.0 rpg and 5.0 apg in the finals with 62.6% ts (rank 1st of all time) against the best defense in the league and the dpoty, absolutely ridiculous
Remember when Steph after that said "what they gon Say now" Man they gon Say Steph Curry is the best player in the world 🔥 His balling, His Shots are very incredible 🐐
We all know that they will make up some sh-t again, now they are talking about the Warriors are interested in KD. I pray that KD go and get him some mental health because KD is not doing good mentally right now.
He averaged 31.5 on 48/43/86 shooting splits on the so called greatest defense in the league who had the so called defensive player of the year incredible player Chef Curry with da shot is
Rewatching this is unbelievable. The Celtics were a team that clamped kyrie and kd, beat the heat, with stood a giannis super storm, and the only player that throughly outplayed the Celtics was curry. This guy destroyed one of the best defenses we’ve seen in nba history. Killing everyone on switches, 43 points in a must win. Just unbelievable
Those are called “SuperStar” calls and Truthfully speaking you only Collect em when you are 6’6 or above, which is why we needed KD in order to get the Respect in 16 we didn’t get,
@@jimmyjones2511 no curry is a Superstar with no Question, but he isn’t your Typical Superstar who is 6’6 or above that would dunk on you, or even would probably do amazing things on court you know, curry Makes the Game Entertaining By Shooting lights out half way to halfway + getting his teammates involved + curry don’t have the body level that most of who was or is had/has. Curry is bonified superstar who would always get robbed
@@yusufali2402 he’s bulked up a little bit now though. Now he can actually play through the contact when there start pushing him at the hips. This version of Steph from this championship run makes me even more confident he’s aware of how to get it done in the post season.
Steph is still underrated. His shooting isn't, but his ability to get to the rim and finish for a guy his size, it's galactically elite. He isn't explosive like a prime Rose or AI. His footwork, decision making and especially his shooting package are all underrated. Name a shot he can't make, floaters, layups, scoop shots, reverses, he can make everything.
What makes his performance even more impressive for me is the fact that he also defended big time. They switched everytime they could to put CURRY on Tatum, or Brown. But he did a terrific job on defense. ANd still find a way to be efficient in offense. Definitely his masterpiece ! The biggest Performance of his career.
Finals: DPOY Smart was so lost on plays he fell down . Curry was making him pay for diving at legs injuring him in a early season game . Curry never even looked at him . Smart was gonna be Toast outplayed so much Celtics switched to White guarding him . Wouldn't matter who was on him Chef was going to make game winning plays all game long .
@@102allenwalker Lebron got his ass smacked worse than anybody in nba finals history against the spurs. That's a fact. Then Curry won 3 out of 4 versus him that's a fact
The man is a legend he don't need to do anymore he lost so many seasons through injury and still 4 titles not to mention the generational talent he is and top 5 all time player at only 6ft 3 and bad ankles. To me the best ever with Jordan absolutely no one watches anyone more than him he is box office every night
This man is the best PG in OUR generation and u can make an argument that he is the best PG EVER! he’s playing with to me the best nba team in the last 8 or 9 years. He’s a RARE BREED. He’s DIFFERENT. Never seem nothing like him before. The nba won’t be the same once this man retired
Kobe will always be my guy. He's 1A to MJ. Steph is now in the discussion. He's earned it. And I don't care if Steph's not an elite defender, can't jump much/doesn't fly through the air, or doesn't average 8+ assists a game. I can't say WHO CARES enough!!! With his game, Steph dominates offensively. Best outside shooter in NBA history, not even close, ... but the guy can dribble, pass, and he can take the ball to the hoop and is just a flat out scorer. Oh, and he's a WINNER (4 championships in 6 appearances in last 8 years). Best player in the world... has been since 2015.
During the 2016 Finals that everyone kills Steph for…. Lebron was in his 7th Finals, Steph was in his 7th year in general. Now full circle, Steph is in his 6th Finals and the game is just so slow for him now. He’s getting better.
@@sportstalkonly1442 lebron never won a legit ring. he had superteams or the bubble. they're all worthless. Putting a fraud like him with curry's name is disrespectful
@@sportstalkonly1442 he won it on his team without running and stacking the deck. And he won before and after KD. Would have won without KD regardless. Bron would have never won anything without running to Wade. Game set match loser 😘
Yall should've known that this was game over for the Celtics since game 1. It was over idc what anyone says they dominated. Celtics got lucky hitting 3s in that 4th quarter
I just love watching him play..! That was a legendary finals performance! So lucky that we can witness his greatness..! By the way, I love your full series highlights! Please, keep it up..!
Why are people acting like this is something new or phenomenon that Curry is doing this he’s been doing this since at least his sophomore year at Davison there were opposing couches just looking for ways to stop him while the rest of his team hit baskets. As I recall one team held him below 20 points and still lost by double digits and the coach’s remark was at least I (we) kept him under 20 smh. Oh and not to mention most of the so called NBA analysis said he wouldn’t make in in the league “he’s too small” that’s to include your bwoy Steven A Smith I believe
Steph Curry. These talking heads still belittle him. Too small; everything else. Crazy they would say that, when they have heard of Alan Iverson! Be careful and listen, this world is beginning to LIE to us. EVERY CHANCE THEY GET. Almost everything is they are telling us. We have to fact check everything, protect yourselves!
After game 1, the whole haters attacked curry cs. They said curry would never beat Celtics. Espn even made a survey that Celtics had 70+ % to win the finals but curry Denied them. Like curry said after win the title.." what are they gonna say now"...
I think Mark was trying to be sarcastic ,since Jeff was always complaining about the drop coverage Celtics play on curry instead of appreciating his greatness.
This 2022 Finals never gets old coz Ima keep watching this the best of GSW & the very best skillful crafty moves of Steph Curry the most exciting NBA player to watch in this era. ❤
Saw Kareem's Rookie game vs Nate the Great, at the civic in SF. Saw Barry , Bernard King , Phil Smith , Wilkes, World B Free , all Dubs Gus Williams who'd make Sac's Fox look slow . Curry is the best I've ever watched .
Gary i love what you have to say here. Gus is my relative and he's not doing so well right now. But him and Curry are my favorite all time player's. Along with Dr. J.
@@lynchone117 not a fan of hypotheticals, but Gus Williams had played with curry that tandem would have been unstoppable . Down town Freddie Brown great shooter but not close to Curry . GSW fan I was so upset they traded Gus . Saw him play vs UCB and on tv he was so fast kept his eyes up too . Loved his game ,his winning attitude. He was a serious great bball player
Curry finally cornered the management to finally give him the FMVP it's been a long overdue. He could've got it in the first championship but they hating.
Thank you for this deep dive 35 minute compilation bro. I almost settled for the 10 minute one on another channel but glad I watched this longer one, you did that man Steph a service by making it this long. I'm trying to get pumped for another Warriors run and this video did the damn trick. My mom was sick during the 2022 finals run so my mind was not in it as a fan, so I don't remember a lot of these plays. Thank you for this bro 🙏
There’s form there don’t get it twisted Steph even on his “formless” shots still has probably the best mechanics of all time, but it just looks different because of the fluidity of said shot mechanics. Dude is different and it’s beautiful to watch him shoot.
This championship has given Curry the fuel and motivation to get that 5th ring....and I have ZERO doubt that he'll get it. He will be tied with MAGIC...KOBE....and TIM DUNCAN....putting him DEFINITELY on the Mount Rushmore of the NBA undisputed greats.
man this guy so good , and u can tell steph is so competitive, u can telk be the looksin his eyes that he wants to win all the time , but he's so quiet and doesn't talk all the time , thats what makes him so sneaky
nobody should ever again doubt the skill or athletic ability of Mr Curry. He took DPOY Keith Smart to school. Top 5 defense team ,Celtics, made them seem ordinary.. Stephen Curry is a great player and he left no doubt in 2022
@@jasonmoukala8909 "Ordinary "was being polite. Curry made the Celtics look like they didnt belong on the same court. Smart was on the defensive side was lost had no clue ,,and no way can he out score Curry. Smarts match up nightmare. Maybe inept is the word i should have used?
@@tellthetruthg is that why the series went to 6 games? Cuz he made them look inept? You realize the Celtics were inexperienced cuz it was their first finals right?
@@jasonmoukala8909 Yes that Celtic roster never was in a finals before. A lot of teams the rosters are players first time in a finals. Those men all of them on both teams have played at the highest at every level , there are no 18 yr old kids on the celtics that got surprised by the intensity., and got ambushed . Smart was a fraud DPOY . Couldn't find Curry in a phone booth
What can you say wrong about him? The Curry hate gotta stop, The Warriors hate gotta stop, they're well deserving of everything that's happening for em. I look at them as the modern day Spurs since everyone hates to see em win. Well built team well oiled machine ‼️ SB: Mike Been knew it was over game 6 26:22
