Love watching this...I have a balsa kit and .75 motor I've been sitting on for about 15 years it may be time to get it all out finally...now I'm 40 lol I should be mature enough to build...maybe.?? Lol

Nice vid!!! I love it, Looks really easy to fly, I flown small electric park like planes 2 or 3 times, crashed but fun lol!!! I think I'm ready now so found a old 1980 something 1/4th (102inch?) scale bud nosen & found someone to build it with 65cc gas engine? In it, told him to build it fast cause I have a old transmitter radio to control it & can't wait to take off & do like this video!!! Easy fun!!!

good question ed, the air goes in the scoop under the spinner (like the real one) and cools the cylinder head then the warm / hot air travels through the fuselage back past the cockpit then exits underneath the fuzz where the real one has a radiator - simples

I love these scale aircraft, a talent to build I do not possess. I wish they would abandon the 2 blade propellers on them, ,a 4 blade with less pitch would be perfect, not bitchin, just wishin.

Afterburner yes a four blade prop would have set the plane off and made it more realistic .

I saw the 2 blade prop and thought the same thing. But again it is a minor nit pick. The plane is beautiful! Nice job!

unfortunately the single cylinder 76cc petrol engine in the model simply doesn't have enough power to turn a scale four blade prop up to the speeds it needs to fly on - just simple mathematics I'm afraid peeps !

Nice Mustang but it's not 1/5 scale, it's 1/4 scale with a 102" WS. If you want to get technical it's actually 1/4.3.

+tbobborap1 I wasn't attempting to be contemptuous nor insulting and I apologize if it appears that I was. I've been flying rc aircraft since 1982 and I own 29 P-51D Mustangs ranging from the Parkzone Ultra-Micro "Meg", to the VQ F-82 "Betty Jo" to the largest one I have, the TopRC P-51D "Blondie". I'm frequently asked the scale of "Blondie" which is considered 1/5 scale when technically it's 1/4.8 scale, lol. After a while, it's just something that I notice without looking for it but "Punkie II" is most certainly a meticulously beautiful P-51D Mustang. My congratulations to Nigel on his excellent craftsmanship and piloting skills.
