Man that is crazy. I am originally from Florida and started watching you on here because I miss fishing back home. Moved out to Oregon and started watching Addicted to learn how to fish out here since it is so different from Florida. I will have to talk to Cameron on how the trip went with you guys. My dream finally came true fishingon a boat. I went fishing on the Pacific Coast off of Nicaragua and Costa Rica. I caught 7 beautiful good size Tunas... At the end of the day we made ceviches, steaks and sushi. It was a beautifu amazing experience. I can not wait to do it again.

you ought to bring a few buckets of ocean water back (which would be cleaner than canal water, so you can wash it, since you said washing with fresh water will compromise the meat.

I’ve seen those parasites in wahoo before it was in a 60lb fish we caught in the summer kingfishing in 50ft of water (very rare for our area to catch them under 100ft )

Just a quick question though: With that big-a$$ Tiagra you had on board, why didn't you troll a planer by that piece of debris? That's a nice Bull Gild. It is a good idea to execute fish that ya'll are going to eat before bringing them inside the boat, though. By killing the fish, the cuts will have less bruising and also ends them quickly to not suffer. Gild are always fun to catch, though.

Loved it Vik. Damn you live life man! What an epic dolphin run. They are breath-taking colorwise! Caught a few last year in Belize. speaking of which, that's a trip you and Brook should do! Stay on Ambergris Caye at Ramon's Village. Research Guides tho, some great, most are amateurs.

i love black rice. I would describe as sorta like, waxy, almost. But when I discovered it several years back, mind blown! Should you bleed that fish first ? I have heard that it would make the fish taste so much better.. beside all that, they are such a beautiful fish.. what a wonderful life to be able to fish for your dinner that afternoon and eat that FRESH fish for dinner that nite!! I am a 65 year old grandma who now lives in Dothan AL. I miss Florida so much. I lived in Destin for years in the 80's. It was just a little fishing village then . I went to FSU during the year and worked at Sandestin for the summer.. good memories...
