So I decided to try tree stand and tripod hunting for the new TruRACS Elk. And it leads to trying to drop a diamond with a bow!

Go to lakes,ponds and rivers at the right hour,you can also go to layton lake and spam the deer caller that they give you for free and enjoy.

With full perks a double lung with the Hawk Edge should always give full quick kill. I think that's the case out to 40m. One of the many things I experimented with during a bow only stint. Kind of hoping we get a ridiculously heavy bow in the future, maybe an 80 pounder based on the Hoyt Helix so that taking down Moose without forcing a heart shot isn't out of the question.

I really like these new stands. I thought the tripod would be more useful, and it is on Vurhonga, but the three stands more or less everywhere else are just the absolute best. So useful for bows, pistols and shotguns.

Thanks for video.. Got a Question Flinter, you using the three pin on purpose... Wondered cause I thought I was the only one that did that lol. We really need some new modern sights in this game. Like what is with the $1.99 Walmart Special Iron sight on the Crossbow... lol Just saying, you can basically go to Walmart and buy the cheapest bow and it has a better sight than we got, or have access too... lol

AL this is Layton lake and you should be able to buy tree stands and tripods from the game store for whatever system you are using

A tip to all the new players who dont have the binocolour with the meter on it. When you see a animal u wanna sneak up to, use the waypointer, it tell u the distance and you know which way to crawl

Killed a diamond elk today, but while looking for consecutive someone claimed it. 955 diamond and 3 weeks of grinding plus an hour of tracking for nothing. On the plus side last night I killed a 957 Blacktail

Ya if I find diamonds I usually don't tell people. People like to troll and it can be frustrating. It's better to just go a couple kilometers away from others and hunt so you don't have to worry about it. Sorry mate, i've had this happen multiple times both on accident and on purpose.

Don't give up though, multiplayer servers for some reason seem to have more diamonds. I have no proof of this whatsoever but it really feels that way. Much more so than my own reserves offline.
