Your peppers plants look great! I haven’t grown peppers for a couple of years ( to maximize tomato production) but when I do, we love the type you are growing the best!!! My wife likes to cut them up and freeze them to use all through the winter. They are so sweet when ripe!
Enjoy watching folks growing the larger veg and your garden shares too! So, tell me how they taste ripe and what you do with them? I've grown yellow and red marconi in the past. They weren't that big though. Now, I'm growing a large Italian again this year. Hoping it's really sweet. Lots of very large green ones now.
@@C3Voyage the red ripe giant marconi have a sweet smokey flavor , they make great stuffed peppers because of their flavor and size , we pickle them pressure can them dehydrate them and freeze them whole just like they come off the vine for later stuffing during the winter months , we just love the flavor if you pick them green they have the same flavor as a green bell pepper we just love growing this variety thanks for watching Brent 👍
Oh those peppers are GORGEOUS!!! 😍😍😍 I've planted my Corno Di Toro peppers last month and I'm hoping I'll get some big peppers before it gets really cold in December (zone 8b TX)
Nobody in the world grows better Red Marconi peppers than you... I'm harvesting my Red Marconi peppers while they're green... they're very crisp and tasty...
@@IAMGiftbearer when green they taste like a bell pepper but when they are fully red ripe they have a sweet smokey grilled flavor perfect for stuffing with rice , meat and cheese 👍
