You can tweak the detent by slightly increasing the lock bar tension

i carry it for over a year now for EDC.i think it is a good allrounder. it kicked out all my hinderers,striders and spydercos out of my pocket in the minute i got it.i really like it a lot.

I recently picked one these up at my local St. Nicks Knives. It is a little smaller than what I prefer to carry but this little guy performs above it's size in my opinion. I still think the Ace Grand would be a better fit for me but overall impressive. And I hate wire clips and have refused to purchase knives with them before. I do wish they had another clip option but I'll live I guess. I did use a little silicone lube and that really helped the action.

Have the Biblio in Bronze been playing with it and breaking it in, it’s smooth but stiff its getting better flickable and easier to close now but not loosening up.

I was choosing between the ace biblio or the artisan cutlery wren! I went with the biblio because of the m390 for 175 and the wren is s35vn for 185 but it’s also titanium scales and the biblio is black canvas Micarta. I’m still gonna get the wren eventually cause it looks freakin sweet too! They look just alike though! Love ur reviews brotha keep up the great work! From another knife junky!

I just got mine in the mail today and outta the box the flipping action is better than my we malice! This knife is perfection! I don’t know if they have tweaked these new ones but I’m in love with this knife And I don’t usually like or carry small knives but this one, this one is something special.

Hopefully their next ACE project will be a smaller production GM5 just like this is a smaller GM1. basically the same as this (maybe a longer, 3" blade?), no flipper, slightly bigger "spydie"hole, drop/clip point blade. it'd be perfect

I Want One Of These SO BAAAD!! I actually really like the size. I have more than a few knifes that measure in at 8" or longer when open so this is exactly what Ive been lookin for. And the weight is perfect. Gonna have to save up for her, and wait for distributors to restock it, but... She will be mine. 😍

Spot on with my experience. I bit the Biblio bullet and I has been bitter sweet. Action is disappointing to be on bearings. After several weeks of carry it has not broken in much. Also It has the ugliest M390 tumble finish i own. And the blade grind was uneven. It’s a great worker though. I want to love this knife

You know that’s funny because I heard another reviewer saying that the knife had a really stiff detent (where he had a hard time spydie flicking it) Maybe inconsistent detent? *** Update My detent is right where it should be so I’m able to deploy it all 3 ways successfully and close to authoritative. As you said the knife feels much bigger than it is. It’s moved into holding the majority of time in my pocket. Give it s shot, you can return it.

IIRC the name is pronounced "Yens Anso", I think I remember him appearing on BHQ Knife Banter. This looks like a very upgraded alternative to the CRKT Pillar. Whoops I commented before finishing viewing the vid. :)

I dont really like wire clips either. They tend to bend outta shape then when correcting it I always mar the shit out of them and it gets ugly looking but I think Giant Mouse uses a better or thicker steel because I have yet to have one bend on me.

Cool knife. Great materials but a weak detent is a deal breaker, especially on a flipper. Aside from WE knives, many manufacturers seem to have this issue. Really like my recently acquired Smock and Sage 5 but the detent is on the weak side; snaps open nicely but the retraction can be bouncy and annoying.

I have 2 of these and it doesn’t have a weak detent. He must of got a dud. Mine also drop shut ( which for some reason these you tubers never show )

Is it just me or does every giant mouse have a little problem like a light detend, off center, strong detend lol I just want one that is good to go out of the box
