Something about this is just simple, beautiful and wholesome. I feel a little silly getting all sentimental over a pumpkin, but just watching those little leaves bending and turning to the sun, growing a little day by day from a tiny little seed to a massive pumpkin, was just so heartwarming. Loved this. Thank you for uploading!

Two reasons to cover the pumpkin are to protect the skin from the sun which can cause premature aging and to keep it warm on cool days and evenings. It is believed that keeping the pumpkin warm will allow it to grow better. I don't know if there is any scientific validity to this but all the heavy hitters do it so I follow suit.

Hey Matt, Thanks for posting this video. I reminds me of all the times going to THE FAIR "Puyallup" growing up and being amazed at the Giant pumpkins. I was wondering if I can screen cast the video adding my voice asking questions for my 7th grade science students to watch and learn about photosynthesis? I normally show them the video and give out candy to any that can pronounce Puyallup correctly. I want to do a screen cast this year because of distance and my students cannot access youtube. I will make sure to credit you for making the video.

Are they still a kid or why does he play with a toy truck? That’s my favourite part there’s starting on Sunday Alice, then the girl into female and then the pollination and you don’t need to actually need you to put cans near it just leave it normally or you can make it into a save by adding a safe box. Don’t make it too small or else your pumpkin will break through it, or it will break itself and you need to cut it off or else it’s loose the pumpkin will break you
@gabumonboys
@gabumonboys 7 лет назад
Why can't you stand the pumpkin upright before it gets too big, so it looks better and not flattened on one side?
@gabumonboys
@gabumonboys 7 лет назад
The stem can't be that small. The vine could also be lifted up.
@mattradach306
@mattradach306 7 лет назад
If you grow them up right the vine will drape over the shoulder of the pumpkin and the vine will be stretched as the pumpkin grows. They will actually split and pull themselves off the vine if not positioned correctly. Also the blossom end of the pumpkin is the thinnest part of the shell and and if you turn the pumpkin with the stem on top it puts all the weight of the pumpkin on the blossom which can cause splitting or potential rotting if the blossom is in the dirt.
