@richardbidinger2577
@richardbidinger2577 5 лет назад
Not to put you off from doing the zoology thing, but its my understanding that getting a zoology degree is insanely more involved than becoming a medical doctor. I'm not talking about a couple more classes, I'm talking about literally like ten times more info than a medical doctor requires. You might want to look up the requirements or even contact someone in the field to get an idea of how much work is needed to get that degree. Again, not trying to scare you off with this, just want to make sure if you get into it, you understand the requirements involved. Student loans can be rough. If you're several years into a degree course and suddenly decide it's too much, you still have to pay back those loans. Look up a few colleges that teach it, and check out the course requirements. If you still want to get into the field after you've done your research, then, more power to you kid, and I wish you well and hope you become the greatest zoologist on earth.

People aren't saying that all Chinese people are horrible, but the practice of using nearly extinct animal parts for medical procedures and medicines that don't really do anything, especially when there are actual medicine that help, is a horrible practice. A great majority of "traditional Chinese medicine" are actually plants. The weird animals parts are mixed in by "priests and witches" who made people think if they can kill a "beast" then they will gain the beast's power. Somehow people still believe it today, except these people are not going to the wild to try to kill a beast with their bare hands like they should be 4000 years ago.

@@animalogic LOL, you've actually asked me this before in other comments. (I've made this comment on every...single...video btw) this is pretty much what I said: There's the Wolverine frog (or "Hairy frog") but I think the Desert rain frog is cuter, but there's also the glass frog, which is really cool to look at, and the "Mountain chicken" which is in no way a chicken. But I really want to hear about the poisonous capabilities of the poison dart frog the most. PLEASE don't keep me waiting TOO long. I need this high.

The Japanese giant salamanders are called Sansho-uo (サンショウウオ) in Japanese (Sansho 山椒 means a kind of small black pepper and uo 魚 means fish). I remember that there was one at an aquarium near my house long time ago. Every time I visited there, I looked at him (or her?) In wonder and thinking it must have been very lonely living there alone. Such an amazing creature.

"Wow, this thing looks cool! If I eat it I'll probably gain magic powers or something" Literally the entire logic process behind Chinese traditional "medicine"

Isn't that the process that all medicine came from? A lot of modern medicines are just the minerals extracted from substances used in traditional medicines from all over the world.
