After about 200kms - works beautifully. No more 25kmh limit and motor works just as smoothly as originally. Love it!
There are at least 2 different side covers. One version actually has very little space between the motor and the cover. In this case I recommend to place the tuning on the right side of the motor. As with other modifications to the e-bike, warranty claims against the dealer or manufacturer of the e-bike will be voided or severely limited by the use of a tuning module. You can find Giant's warranty conditions for GB here: www.giant-bicycles.com/gb/warranty
The tuning has only been on the market for a week. So far, there is no negative feedback from customers. On our test bike, we have covered a little over 1000km fault-free.
Hi VOLspeed, maybe you can help me with this. I'm trying to install a Ridedash EVO on a 2022 Giant Trance E+1. Typically it comes with no instructions. My understanding is that it 'T's into the cable for the RideControl Ergo 3 (the 3 button controller). I was able to easily find that connector but when I plugged the Ridedash in, then plugged the buttons into the other part of the 'T'. But the screed doesn't turn on. The buttons still work though so it's passing a signal through. Just nothing on screen. The connector had an 'L' label on it. I can't see any other connectors up there. My SmartGateway is the latest version. Can this installation be done at home or is it a 'dealer only' thing?
You can easily perform the installation yourself. However, the EVO is not connected between ERGO and GO+, but between GO+ and motor. The L and R connectors are for the Ergo. The Y-cable for the EVO can be connected to the third connector of the GO+.
Hi Volspeed. I have a 45km/h bike. But it shuts off on 42km/h. Would it be possible to remove the 42km/h limitation and upping it to 45 with this module?
I did not know until now that there are already 45km / h versions of the Syncdrive Pro2 / PW-X3. Sure that it is this motor? You can also simply send us a link to your bike by email, then we check it.

Yes, this product works with the 2023 giant reign e+2. After installing a tuning, we generally advise against software updates. Of course, new software can negatively affect the function of the tuning. As a tuning manufacturer, we unfortunately have no influence on the software development at Giant.
Yes, you can also use tuning without a display. However, the setting values will of course not be displayed. You can easily retrofit a Bluetooth display, such as Ride Dash Plus, to your bike. You can also use the Ride Control app.
Everything works the same way with the Ride Control app. You only use the app as a display here. It is important to start a riding in the app, otherwise the values are updated very slowly. No, this tuning is only compatible with the Syncdrive Pro2. The Stance is equipped with the Syncdrive Sport. For that, you need a tuning module that is suitable for this motor, e.g. our VOLspeed V4 for Giant Syncdrive Sport / Pro V4 (P/N 1234).
