Hey Jake, when you get hot glue on yourself, just rub it in with your fingers. It sounds stupid, but it actually cools down the glue super fast and saves a lot of pain. Bill from Punished props did it in his best foam glue video

I think I did that but there was so much volume of melted glue it didn't really help.

@@ShuTheIdiot yeah Adam Savage’s tip for getting hot glue on your finger is to just put it in your mouth. I got to say as crazy as that sounds it works 😂

@@AnimatorsatWork the saliva acts as a barrier but it also numbs the pain cause we have pain suppression in our saliva or something? I can't remember but it's apparently where the idea of just licking your wounds comes from.

I live in Montreal and I dont have a garage. I have to wait till its sunny and -4 weather to run to my car shelter (tempo) and quickly spray paint my Ecto 1 build then I run back to the house and I put it in the guest bathroom to dry with a fan and the extractor fan on. My mom still complains that the house smells like spray paint lol. Loved the build !!!!

little tip for you if you get a little burn like that is to rub in some dish soap into the blister as it pulls the fluid out the blister and helps with the pain.

@@WilliamJakespeareProps Especially for a vessel with no internal atmosphere in the vacuum of space O.o All that paint and cardboard will just combust if a laser even glances at it, Physics be darned. O.o Also I guarantee *Sienar* used Hot Glue Droids rather than Arc Welders to stick thier ships together. O.o

Oh it's not. Long-term plan is to replace them with plywood but it needs a lot more re-enforcement before that.

You could get that construction plastic. The stuff that goes behind drywall in a shower. But getting paint to stick might need touch up every month. Just use super light coats. Maybe it will stick
