i would love for you guys to do a film review on penn state qb drew allar. i have this weird feeling the giants will find a way to get out of the cam ward and milroe sweepstakes and drafting allar and paring him with daboll would be a match made in heaven. josh allen coming out of college was a 6’5 230 lbs gun slinger who daboll turned into a monster and drew allar is basically the same thing he’s also a 6’5 230 gunslinger. allar has shown he can be mobile and take hits as well i like the idea especially if he falls to the 2nd round we can take a CB in the first and help banks out.
The Giants are the only team that for some reason loves to draft players & play them out of position. Evan Neal was a LT in college they put him at RT. They draft Ezudue as a LG they put him at LT. They draft Flott as a slot CB but then put him outside. Annoying
2 things we KNEW going into this season was our DB depth and OT depth was terrifying. little late there Schoen. BUT good signing. we cant save the year overall, but maybe we can bandaid it so our offense can at least function and keep Nabers and our young players from completely tapping out and keeping Jones from getting badly hurt. Putting Ezudu at LT again is another fireable offense and when we start having postmortem talks - we wont forget this. While we are at it, cut Neal and sign someone else anyone else as a developmental piece. he is wasting a warm spot on the bench. I don't blame Schoen for that Pick, he was who we all wanted - who knew it was just a bad miss. but its time to cut the losses The run game seems to be struggling a bit with teams adapting fast to the RPO game. Linemen are getting lost in no mans land or called for downfield penalties. But ya know when you do not TRY TO run for more than THREE TIMES with DJ at QB doesn't matter if Godzilla is on your line. Any time we start with the shotgun dropback game Jones is at his absolute worst. He can be semi functional under center and play action. My take on Daboll is he is too Smart and arogant for his own good. If I hear him say ONE more time how long he has been in the league ill lose it. When he gets DEEP in his playbook he is an ace,. but for that to happen - the stars need to align and it only happens once or twice a year vs the Cleveland Browns or decimated Seahawks lol I'd like to see a post mortem video on all the good and BAD things things Schoen and this staff has done .This may be one too many notches in the DUMB Category for me with us being in a situation to start Ezudu at LT.....again.

Love Thomas but the guy is injured every year and can’t be relied on going forward. The fact that this team continues to go into every year without a prominent backup LT knowing this should be fireable alone. The mad scramble and lack of wherewithal everytime he goes down looking for a replacement is getting old at this point.
Anthony was totally wrong about Neal. He practiced for a week & played a preseason game. He let up a sack but he wasn’t a total train wreck. Did you forget the pancake blocks he had. He had several of them. Most of the pressures that game came from the other side. Neal should get some playing time. Joshua is not a tackle.
Ezeudu is not a tackle, he was an average guard who didn't face SEC competition regularly in college. Neal was a better LT & LG Than RG in college. Like Tyree Phillips also T & G flexibility.
Given your respect for the O line coach, don’t you you feel he believes Josh can do the job? Why out him out there otherwise? Don’t forget, Thomas had troubles his firs t year at Lt .
As a long time Giants fan (38 years), I don’t care anymore if they sell the team, fire Shoen and Daboll. Every regime that came in here for the last 10 years has done the same things and made the same mistakes. It’s Deja Vu since the last 3-4 years of Rli’s career. All those drafts in the last 10 years and we have to sign a guy with a torn ACL because one of our starters got injured. No depth. Still not 💯 fixed. Instead of Beckham we now have Nabers. We made playoffs 1 time in 2016. We made the playoffs 1 time in 2021 or 22. Like I said it’s Deja Vu. We’re trash for 5 years and make playoffs once. Trash for another 5 years, we make the playoffs once. We need a major change. MAJOR!!!!!!
Gotta stick with starting Janiel Dones he gives us the best chances to lose game. Can’t make the same mistake we did last season by winning pointless games with the back up QBs, which cost us Jayden Daniels.

The incompetency is the exact reason Brian daboll is getting fired. Remember before we knew the full extent of Neal’s injury they were penciling him as the starter and Jermaine wasn’t practicing no ther position but guard ..now all of a sudden the 7th pick that was your unquestionable starter can’t see the field over a guard who is the reason Daniel jones season was cut short a season ago. Not to pull Edoodoo after he didn’t block a soul at no point in the game last week, they are setting Daniel jones up to get hurt and be owed those injury guarantees next year. As giants fans we should all be expecting this. I know Daniel Jones gonna get a session ending injury. When you play with fire you get burned and that’s what we always have done, continue to do and hopefully it’ll change with the new hc and GM
looks like we are screwed plain and simple might as well cut neal and bring in someone else with some experience who can help your o-line today and keep Jones heathy but the Giants management and coaches should bench Jones to keep his injury clause from kicking in end of story

They ruined ezudu because he was looking like a decent gaurd and then one day out of the blue he was in at tackle. Wtf? At this point get him and evan neal out of here. Let me just say all the draft busts on the o line im wtarting to feel has been due to coaching incompetence then anything else. Realistically, there is no simple answer to losing AT. We ain't getting someone off the streets that can replace him better than what we already have.
Usually I'd be a little more forgiving/patient. But I just watched the Ezuedu film on Talkin Giants. He can't play another game at LT. He doesn't even know his assignment on every down. It's not an NFL offense with him on the field and it will end up getting DJ's injury clause triggered. It's a minor miracle he didn't give up more sacks than he did. It's coaching malpractice to throw him out there like this. He doesn't have the foot work, arm length, strength or even understanding of what he should be doing every play. The Giants literally had to bring in multiple TE's to help him in pass protection. You can't move the ball in the NFL doing this every week. You can't leave him in the game and wait for improvement when it may never come and the team is rapidly death spiraling into an active volcano 🌋. Besides if they sign a free agent they can sell Mara on the idea that none of this is actually their fault and everything is about to turn around next week. Plus this team is so bad it only makes sense that a guy who has been sitting on the couch all season is better than players on our active roster. Just like with Justin Pugh... 😑
