We're very excited about this one-- the Gibson Custom Shop Brian Ray '62 SG Jr. White Fox! Straight from the Gibson Custom Shop, we get to show off this very special piece and talk about some of its classic looks and modern features. Brian Ray, guitarist for Paul McCartney, worked closely with Gibson's Custom Shop to appoint this guitar based on the original '62 SG Jr. Some of the old aesthetics like the ebony block below the bridge are included, as well as one heavy duty Dog Ear P-90 and a Maestro Vibrola. The new stuff presents itself with a "convertible bridge"-- replace that Tune-O-Matic and Vibrola with a Wrap-Around bridge as fast as it takes to change strings. They also included a special "Induction Coil" circuit under the pickguard, which cuts some of the P-90 hum in a live setting. All in all, this guitar is an absolute machine of tone and so pleasurable to play-- let us know what you think!
