Thanks for this - I accidentally broke one of my original Kluson tuning heads on my Les Paul several months ago and tried to find matching replacements, but they are all sold out it seems, I have spent hours trying to find the right replacement. Then I watched this video yesterday morning and decided to go with the locking tuners you recommended, so ordered them in the afternoon. They arrived this morning and I have fitted them this evening and they are perfect. Thank you so very much, I am delighted!
I like how you wonderfully take care of your guitars. I have taken your lead in using Nevr-dull for cleaning/polishing frets and F1 oil on non-poly fret boards, I think my guitars are now showing me some love in return.

Very good tuners, I have a set on a SG '61 RI (non lock version) they are not heavier than the Gibson Deluxe. Knobs are very smooth, the SG stays in tune, no neck dive, PER-FECT . They are the best tuners for a Gibson, ration is 1/19 .
@Cesar All Guitar Why does the Kluson button look so transparent and see-through? It is also WAY too white and not cream colored like the stock tuners... Do the Kluson's buttons come off? If they do come off, how could you make them look more like the stock buttons? Thank you!

The ones on your video are the exact ones that I need for the LP... The ones on your video are the Kluson Revolution Tuning Machines KRGL-3NP. Just so you know, they are the NICKEL ones... Cesar hello my friend. My Gibson Les Paul standard came from the factory with locking tuners. Did yours not come with locking tuners? Is there a reason I should change mine?
Great Video. I am looking to buy these to replace on my Les Paul, but I am finding a few different models and serial numbers online. KRGL-3-NP and KRGL-3-CP, plus some are labeled as "G Mount" and others are collared and non-collared? From the video I can see on the box that you used the KRGL-3-NP, but do you know anything about the other differences?
Thanks for watching! You have to check if the guitar has bushings in the headstock or not. Then you choose the right ones. Mine are the ones for no-bushings .

Sadly it would appear the Gibson Deluxe vintage tuners (on my 2021 50s Standard) are junk. After 30 plus years of playing, I finally got a Gibson Les Paul. The guitar has been amazing, but I always thought the feel of the tuners were not the in the same ballpark as my Schaller tuners on my Am. Deluxe Strat. Then the other day, I notice my B string is way out of tune compared to the rest of the strings. I tune it up, and simply giving the string a tug made it go way flat. So flat you wouldn't even need a trained ear to notice. Tried new strings and everything on the guitar is right. Must be the damned tuner. As I research, I'm hearing more and more people dissatisfied with them. I got some Revolutions ordered now. Hopefully they have held up well for you. You would think a part as basic as a tuner would be much more reliable, especially on a USA made guitar. That even cheap ones wouldn't fail like this one has. Oh well, something to look forward to later this week! Thanks for the video.

Pero ojo - se desgasta muchisimo...a mi me viene bien, pero no aprietes mucho las tuercas porque el plastico de la herramienta es blandito. Por una parte viene bien porque asi no se aprietan las tuercas mas de lo debido..
Hola Se que es un poco tarde mi comentario pero me dio risa ver tu video ya que yo tengo la misma guitarra con los mismos locking tuners. Nada más que la mía es la marca Heritage H-150 Standard. No se si conoces esta marca, se producen en la fábrica original de Gibson (Kalamazoo, Michigan) y para mi son de mejor calidad y más baratas! 😮 Yo tenía 4 Les Paul (Gibsons) y vendí 3 de ellas (Classic, 50’s, 60’s) y me he quedado con la Gibson Les Paul “Slash” November Burst, que me gusta mucho como suena y se siente en mis manos, pero he tenido problemas con el acabado….se ralla muy fácil 😢 Remplacé esas Gibson con 3 Heritage, una Custom, la standard que mencione y otra standard del año 2014 (las otras dos son del año ‘21 y ‘22. Son de verdad unas bellezas! Las Gibson son como un Ferrari, unas bellezas pero muy delicadas Estás Heritage son como el Porsche, entre más lo manejas duro y rápido mejor 😂👍🏻
Buenas tardes Cesar. Ando buscando unas de bloqueo que sirvan para una les paul traditional 2010. Las clavijas que lleva la guitarra de serie son unas "kluson deluxe" escrito en dos columnas ¿Alguna sugerencia o modelo que pudiese valer para simplemente sustituir las que trae la traditional 2010 por unas de bloqueo? Que estén bien y si puede ser, teniendo en cuenta un presupuesto apretadísimo. Saludos para ti y todos los que vean este video!
