I saw Gideon Glick in the OBC of Spring Awakening almost 10 years ago and this made my day. I always knew this song was perfectly suited for his impeccable tenor. Glad to see I was right.
I love him as Ernst, Gideon so sweet and so talented. I’m playing Ernst in college and I used inspiration from Gideon. But Gideon singing this song was a treat xxx
Yes you have the perfect voice for this song. Sensitive and expressive. I loved it when Jonathan Groff did it but I really felt the song from your version. Beautiful. You should do that often.
An amazing voice, and an amazing show. How lucky we were to sit front row in that tiny theater, my son, and a pile of my friends. This song still haunts me, and Gideon sang that perfectly :-) Thank you .
no one could do Ernst quite like Gideon... Jonathan B Wright and Gideon Glick were the perfect pairing for Hanschen and Ernst, every other pairing just seems so disappointing. I wish I had known he was in Significant Other so I could have checked it out before it ended. Hope to see a lot more of him soon!

It’s even more tragic and almost even haunting if you play it back at 0.75 speed. It messes with the audio quality a little at points, but the song is so much more emotional played slower.
