I love when the girl standing next to Gideon (Glick) says "that was beautiful" after he sings his part after John Gallagher jr.

This just screams early mid 2000s chill city vibes, where live music and being outside in the summer were a given. You’d always stumble upon something.

Has anyone ever noticed how in sync they all are with each other even when they just take a breath in between each line. it's kinda....beautiful :)

There are a couple of moments where they all like thrust or something at the same time. They are such a good ensemble...there is no domination in this song! I could watch Gideon all day long...

I seriously CANNOT stop watching this performance. It's so beaitiful and haunting. My favorite song from my favorite musical

brian charles johnson. Y U SO TALENTED?

I just discovered Spring Awakening recently, and I love it. Brian Charles Johnson just won mad props from me. When I first heard some of the music, I thought "my school needs to do this, even though the town would burn us at the stake" and that if we did, I should be his character (Otto? I've not seen it. :()... I see him wearing a Sabres shirt... and that cemented it. Hockey + musicals... wow. That's pretty awesome, I have to say.

there is just something about this song that is so haunting.... it's not just sexually charged, which it totally is. It's more... getting lost in the feeling of the touch of another person. it's almost sad in that what they are talking about is the longing for connection..... am i wrong? reading too much into this?

The sound guy wasn't great on this; you can't hear most of Jon's solo @ the beginning, and the first time everyone chimes in on their harmonies, it's not modulated properly. I love how Lea turns & beams at Brian when he gets all the cheers during his solo - but who is the girl standing next to him on the other side? I know the whole OBC and I don't recognize her...

Oh it wasn't that bad. It's a morning sing-a-long [well maybe afternoon]. Not properly warmed up that's all. But those [surely not Lauren...nah can't be...] notesat 44 & 55 secs are awful. I still love it. The raw beauty of this music & the performers will last a lifetime.

I just found out that Brian Charles Johnson is from Buffalo, NY! I just moved from there after living there for many years. I was wondering why he had the Buffalo Sabres shirt. I have recently fallen in love with this musical and the play.

For a girl who lives in Queens and goes to school in Buffalo, O just gotta say Way to Go Sabres! Whoot to Brian for having B-lo pride!

Fantastic. They had a bit of a rough start harmonizing, though. Still, it was worth it. Skylar totally gave me goosebumps.

I'm pretty sure that's just balance issues with sharing the mics. And the fact that they're outside doesn't help either...I love them nonetheless!

yeah the one at 43 is weird but the one at :54 is not pretty. It might have been balance problems or I don't know what...but OUCH! I still love them though!

wow, didn't you listen to the stray notes around 0:44 and 0:55 ? I think he's a little off, but not as noticable as the others in the beginning

there are one or two parts where the harmonies are really out of tune. People mentioned exactly where they are in earlier comments. I mean, I'm sure I couldn't do it that well, but it's not my job.

who the fuck is ruining it with their own harmonies .. its my favorite song in the show.. well one of them, but someone's awful harmony is completely killing it for me
