Looking forward to you using the TimeLess AL45 razor in a shave, that razor is top of my wish list and I'm looking to purchase one sometime this year. Keep safe Mark.
Coming soon! I am looking forward to using it to. It felt great in the hand and the fit into it's stand was something else. You won't have to wait too long. 🤩
Once again tremendous generosity that supports Friendship Shaving. Just goes to prove what an impact Mark makes on this channel, very much looking forward to seeing all these items in action.
Excited for you Mark, some excellent gifts there! I'll be interested to see your thoughts on the Hawk v2. I really like the looks of that aluminum Timeless,. Cheers
I had to chuckle at your mention of having to put up more shelving to accommodate all of the hardware! At some point I assume a fair few of us are going to have to extend our houses with the things we obsessively collect as part of this hobby! 😂 All the best Mark. Looking forward to the next installment of the straight razor restoration.
Not quite, Mayur. It is a similar height but the knurling is different and the TTO button is different. Perhaps this company made the Wilkinson Sword model. They do look similar.
Thank you very much, Chris. We had a drama today, the oven packed up, and there was no stuffed crust pepperoni pizza for dinner! Well, you have to focus on the important things 😁
Hi Mark, Some nice stuff there! I received my 4th Razorock razor today in the form of the Lupo SS •72 closed comb. There is no play whatsoever between top and bottom plates with Razorock........superb! I enjoyed my dual comb SS Lupo last night! Take care mate and stay safe! Dave.
@@FriendshipShaving I only got home an hour or so ago and the Lupo •72 was waiting for me so I haven't tried it yet. So far the best Razorock I've used is the Gamechanger •68 open comb. It took off 7 days growth on Sunday night and it was a really nice shave. It is very efficient and super smooth. I am looking forward to using the new closed comb •72. It will be interesting to see how it compares to the open comb on the dual comb. I will let you know Mark. Take care and stay safe Sir! Dave.
@@FriendshipShaving Also Mark.........A good comparison shave would be the Lupo •72 and the Outlaw Standard which is... er.......•71 If I remember correctly. Both stainless and closed comb. 🤔🤔🤔😃😃. Dave.
Excellent Mail call Mate, glad you like the stuff, i think you will be surprised by the Quality of the Lider Cream, Malwina is happy she had a mention, made her day 🤣, all the very best mate, Mark & Malwina
Who's a lucky boy. I have been drooling over timeless razors for s while I need to win the lottery, oh I don't do it, they look a very impressive piece of kit. My worry is spending that amount and not knowing if I would like it. I can always dream. Thank you for sharing with us. Keep well and keep safe.
Nice video again Mark. Very nice looking gifts from generous friends of your channel. Looking forward to seeing you use them all. You're going to end up with more shelves than a library. Stay safe Mark.
Hi Mark, you've got some great new additions to your shave cave. I'd be interested in seeing you use the Solar Flare brush with the Timeless Aluminum. I used that combination, along with a Gillette Nacet and had a marvelous shave. I look forward to watching you test all the new gear. Take care and stay well.
That sounds a good combination, Scott and I certainly lyrics love the Solar Flare, it is fantastic. I find my other brush from PAA, whose name momentarily escapes me, a little big in the hand compared to this one. You too buddy. Be well.
It's hard to beat Christmas in March. You are going to be busy showing off those gifts over the next few weeks. I look forward to your reviews. Have fun. Cheers.
I have the Timeless Bronze SB .38 and it is quite amazing how the razor slides into the stand. It’s almost as if it’s being drawn in as you place it in the opening.
It was exactly like that Robert. I had to stop myself playing with it as it was a somewhat strange feeling. I also noticed the razor stand felt like that when I placed it on the worktop. I can only think it must be very slightly weighted on the very base. Amazing!
Wow Mark some nice gear there, I thought it was going to be a cooking video when I saw you in the kitchen lol, the Timeless is lovely, they are so well made I hope you enjoy shaving with it. The others look like fun razors to.
Nice Paul. I find mine stick a bit on my neck, I only have wedges, so it will be interesting to see if it happens to you, or whether it is my technique in need of some work. I'd love a half wedge; a Dubl Duck; a Tanifuji 77; A Puma 1938; and few more - just a few. 🤩
Wow, some lovely gifts from your friends! Can you tell me more about 'cashmere knots' and who sells them in brushes? I also like the look of the German razor - I might look them up for more info. Cheers Mark.
Hi Doug. I am certain that the Cashmere knot is a Yaqi knot. You might want to double check that. The two that I know who sell it are PAA in the Solar Flare, which is bloody fantastic; they call it the Nexus - I used it this Friday's (today) shave. APShaveCo also sell it in a number of brushes, and separately. They are on eBay, based in the US or Canada.
As someone who has 25 razors.. I’m sick of poor tolerances. Only a couple of my razors will go together 1st time and have perfect dimensions. Those cheap heads or no name brand are terribly sloppy. I bought a maggards head and broke out my caliper dial. And there was up to .010” (.25mm) variances that’s so sloppy. Even my r41 and 37c are a little sloppy. The r89 if I recall I’d slightly sloppy. My variant is true and my new razor is damn perfect ($125) and maybe a couple others I can’t think but almost all of them require adjustment. It’s unacceptable to have a razor head over $50 and not have perfect tolerances. The handle is where the slight tolerances should be missed if any. Btw did u see the new toggle that came out?
I certainly am very lucky Lee. All the gentlemen that contribute help me and the channel. I really appreciate it. One gentleman once sent me two of his favourite razor blades. This was all he could afford, so that was super special but in a different way. Sven is something else though. An incredibly kind man.
Hey Mark, also cool stuff from the other gentlemen 👍 That is very generous from them. The advantage of the Aluminum Timeless is the smaller head where you get better under your nose. To be honest I love the RR Hawk, it’s an awesome razor (in my opinion). I will catch you by Email since I have something special to clarify. Catch you later 😉
Maybe I used the wrong term. Low profile head would be more correct. Ah btw. you can unscrew the knob at the bottom end of the Hawk handle. In this way it should be possible to place it upright.
Some great acquisitions there Mark will be great to see them in use as and when, the PAA brush looks great heard lots of good things about them. Will look forward to seeing the new Polish shave cream I love a lemon scent one. All the best Jay
Hi Mark- Great preview of new items sent to you; thank you for showing them to us! You have some great hardware there. I’m looking forward to the Friday shave, as well. Take good care and be safe and be well. All the best, Mark!
Very welcome. I find Mark‘s channel is something special and deserves support 🙂 But I have to highlight that it’s not just me it’s the whole community that supports Mark. So all the other people are very generous too.
@@AverageReviewsYT We ALL have good taste...never disparage someone else’s preferences, simply say “I don’t like those razors”. With the available variety (as someone else said)...everyone can feel like a boss with the most exquisite taste.
