When you are flying with G-raptor. You can actually change directions mid flight. The key is stop flapping. Point in different direction and flag again. It always changes directions for me
Please disregard my earlier post. I figured it out. When I took Yuti and bonded Gigantoraptor to hunt, the buff did show up! So in a resting state, the bonded creature does not show the buff.
Lots of stuff going on but probably half of it is meh at best. They should allow the features to be used in males. The imprint change is helpful and the movement speed is great.
The imprint bonus is nice and quick to get for 2 dinos at a time. It would be awesome if it could carry more but the amount needed for pvp would be kind of silly to carry around on a single raptor.
Interesting. OK, was hunting with a Rex and things got a little excited and Mama attacked, so she got ate. The next had one baby, but I chased it trying to claim it, but I couldn't read the pop up fast enough. So, what did I need to do to claim the orphaned baby?
Gigantoraptor babies that are orphanated can't be tamed by survivors. Which is what the message says, you can tame it with a Gigantoraptor you own but it had to be equal to or higher than the lvl you're trying to imprint on
I bonded my Yuti with a gigantoraptor, but the next day when I started the game the buff was not showing on the Yuti. I did not hunt after the bonding process ended. Did not hunt for alloparental love. In order words, when I received the message that the Yutie bonded to the gigantoraptor I stopped hunting. Should I continue hunting after the bonding process is done?
I think the point is still there unsure though honestly lol might have shaved more off then I meant to. I started editing the video around 20 hours into my day. I wish Wildcard wouldn't release things in the middle of the work week lol
sooo basically, its got a bunch of abilities but the only worthwhile one is refreshing imprints on babies? Hell ya for no more walks, but sad to see the rest of the abilities being more effort than their worth. if i gotta do all that to get buffs (like resistance on a stego) ill just raise extra babies to make up for it lol. no way in hell im going out and pveing for 2 dinos at a time then bringing the gigantoraptor to sit in the back during pvp just for it to get sniped and lose that buff on the rest of my imprints. Not even the feathers will be worth it once female breeders all have the base stats.
The least they could have done is let it feed 2 babies at a time until the hit juvi. after juvi is 100% pointless since they can eat from troughs then.
ya lol it would be different if the buff was permanent. They do give you bonus imprint percentage up to something like 30% for bonding but ya 2 at a time. I prefer to just raise 100s of dinos than imprint a few.
@@101joetheshmoe ya hopefully they change it to feed babies pre 10% in the future. The creature was rushed and they seemed to have just tossed some stuff that exists on it without really thinking about it.
I have not tested this yet I know players have gotten them from Red loot drops and I want to say they are going to be in the Ice cave and Swamp cave since they share loot tables with the red drops. They should also be part of the secondary loot table that has everything on it and can be gotten from any loot crate. so check them all but swamp and Ice cave will give you the best chances.

This was single player on just the base rates for single player which are higher than that of officials. Just guessing but it is probably the setting that effects how fast they grow and or the imprinting.
When gliding? I will have to try again then I didn't really spend time on gliding needed to test the bonding raising and so on. Good to know though thank you!
It only feeds the baby below 10% when riding it around with the baby in the basket. After 10% juvenile it works like a feeding trough. Need the proper food in the inventory
I agree! They totally ruined the spawns too. Either no nest, no baby or despawns right in front of of you. Just spent over an hr looking, nada. They pretty much useless for anything boss worthy at low levels too. WC always always nerf good things as soon as they can. WC you suck bigly. This thing has potential. Right now, on official it’s too hard to even find them spawning.
ruined? by making you tame them the intended way how dare they and palworld is great but i see why your going back there after complaining its to hard to play ark lol palworld throw sphere caught pal repeat 10 times for each pal game over i caught 90 different pals without ever switching spheres just throw spheres over an over an cant even be attacked just sit there throwing balls dont even need to fight the pals just walk up throw ball talk about simple an boring after 3 pals are caught lol great game beat it in a week though an went back to ark mostly for the breeding cause palworld has the worse breeding system ever made hunt for iv's lame just play pokemon if you wanna punish yourself with iv's a hidden stat ill be breeding in ark for not only stats that arnt hidden lol but colors want the best pals in the game go to sanctuarys just sit there throw balls and youve got best pals in game no skill needed no fun to do it either dont even need to find most pals just breed random pals an oh you got pal an didnt need to even search or look for it but cool fun game for all of a week until you realize its more for 6 year olds and no content after weeks time
What do you mean ruined taming? You drop an egg, the giga chicken eats it, then checks the nest and repeats. Thats how it’s tamed. It’s extremely easy so I didn’t really understand why people were building traps for it in the first place. There is no difficulty lol. I just fly away on any flyer before it finishes the egg. Then land by the nest again when it goes to the next egg
@@albytross8681 because normal rates on Offical is 3% a mimic on high level ones One Giga egg at best gets you 9%. So do the math and how ungodly long that takes. Plus it can be interrupted and killed by wild dinos.
@@freedomgaming9987 Placing eggs down is not any slower than if the parent is trapped. You will still be waiting for the dumb baby to actually prompt you. It does not matter if the parent is trapped or not speed-wise. Also trapping the parent to protect against wild Dino’s makes no sense as an argument, because wild Dino’s can still aggro to the baby, which can still ruin the process. If you’re REALLY worried about wild Dino’s (which is a problem for LITERALLY every Dino tame if you are playing on official rates) then you can build a larger trap around the entire nest if you so desire.
