Dont bother trapping the parents. They patched that you can tame them this way. So the methods that I show you are the only ones that work :)

I have 2 baby thylas , levels 343 and 340 and I’m tryna raise them while in my gigaraptor (level 362) so it’s not that I’m tryna raise baby tames that are higher level than my gigaraptor, but after putting them in the basket it should say “bonding, resting etc” but instead it keeps saying “imprinting mismatch. I bought the thylas from a guy using Poly. Any reason it keeps saying imprinting mismatch?

You did not claim those babies yourself. So the imprinter on them and on your Gigantoraptor don't match.

What are your imprint settings because I’m having a hard time and only getting one percent imprint, and it grows up too fast. So could you share your settings?

Something that I was wondering is that is the imprint with the chicken linked to that specific one or will it work with others? Haven't been able to test this with the Tribe yet and was curious

I'm having issues taming them... I have both tried to trap them (prior the latest patch) and distract it with an egg but neither methods worked for me. The baby comes to the nest and I do the dance correctly and in time but the taming bar did not go up... then I ask a friend to try the same gigantoraptor and he does it first try 😑

Sometimes the tame process is bugged. This happened to me a handful of times. Just abort the tame and find another nest. Sucks but it is what it is .

My babbies are starving in the pouche... maybe a bug? I had a rex in the pouche and meat inside the Gigantoraptor no meat in rex.... so yeah idk

We're you riding the GRaptor? cus it does not passive feed like a maewing. From what i saw you need to be mounted on the saddle for it to feed.

Both Gigantoraptor and Baby must be imprinted by you/your Giganto. Otherwise its a mismatch

Do they feed the baby's in their saddle? Or have to make sure they have food on them?

They feed babies in the saddle from their inventory WHEN YOU SIT ON THE SADDLE. So not Maewing like. More a safety measure they dont die, when you go hunting with them

So if you get a 58% feather are we saying it is only 3% better than no feather? Or it is multiplicative and odds would be like 75ish%?

Wow so if the server restarts. All existing wild baby Dino’s will get extra stats post tame. But anything that spawns after will not get extra stats post tame unless raised by Gigantaraptor?

I wonder if this applies to baby Gigantaraptors? Found it in official wiki. “Any wild baby claimed by the Gigantoraptor during this window gains bonus Bonus-Wild-levels (normally gained during taming, which babies can’t get) proportional to the Gigantoraptor’s Tamed-levels multiplied by its taming effectiveness” I agree it is very confusing. Some times I get levels post baby growth and sometimes I don’t. If it is server restart like you said that is genius find.

Well.. saw wild gigantaraptor. Shut down game and restarted Nitrado server I play solo on. Took my giganta raptor I tamed, killed the wild parent, made the call, claimed the baby. Flew back to my base Rynio carrying the baby. Raised the baby on its own (not in saddle). 100% imprint. No extra levels. Ugh. Guess it is back to fert giga eggs and hiding and dancing.

Tia , what does imprinter mismatch mean that's all I get on left and right saddle, doesn't allow for what your showing ? , thanks in advance if any info :).
