Gigapower 2021 Reissue HQ-01R Chrome Superator AKA Grimlock 

I think the button in the back is for the abcrunch I believe. Definitely an amazing figure forsure.

I am happy that they fix the easy to broken part on the hand there and tighten certain places!

Great review covering the updates. I got the first release of this due to the scarcity of Fantoys. It didn’t disappoint but this looks improved. Managed to get the full set of Gigas and also got the reissue of Stomp and Soar. Definitely measure up well against each other. Great quality and presence for the masterpiece Dinos.

The button is for the ab crunch. Lack of ankle tilt sucks but people complaining about it also have their "grim lock" with ankle tilt standing in a normal A pose. So....

Mine is on the way! Paid just under $200 with a preorder earlier this year!

Got mine on Saturday, it’s as great as all the rest of the reissues have been. The limited ankle tilts hurt it to be sure (you can cheat it a tiny bit by using the sideways transformation joint on the knees) but I still think it edges out Grinder. Mostly due to torso proportions, and the metallic silver instead of the plain gray.

Looks insane! My favorite character! Can't wait to get this beast!

Nice timing on this review as I received my copy right today! It's amazing and I already have the Fanstoys one but this one blows it away. Also I paid much less for it, around 185$ with almost year long preorder, so it's even cheaper than FT. Amazing figure, they even corrected most of it's previous faults, too bad they did not give it a proper ankle tilt, that's the only real downside of it, but oh well

I have both sets of these. Giga looks impressive for sure, all great figures. I'll put the FT up for display next to the Autobots every time. Giga looks better by themselves.

Great Review. I still haven't paid for mine from BabaBoBo since I have the KO OS MP Grimlock...but man this is tempting. I like the MP Grimlock with the color change eyes gimmick built into the dino and robot head..no parts swapping

The button is to release the ab crunch joint, VERY essential to get a great looking bot mode!! Just that alone makes him alot more dynamic looking.

I love it and was so torn between MP08X Grimlock and this one but I think this one the HQ-01R is better (just wish he had a crown too). Thank you for an awesome review and for all the great feedback on his playability and transformation.

If not for those dismal legs, GP's offering blows FT's out of the water. However, I can't overlook the lack of an ankle tilt. Speaking of Grimlock, have you seen Planet X Cacus?

I picked one up at a resale store. It’s missing pieces. Clear Yellow Chest cover, blaster, both arms and alt face. Need to locate these pieces or possibly 3D print them. Any help would be appreciated.

Come on gigapower its 2021 and still the ankles suck on your grimlock. Glad i have my fanstoys version. That is much superior quality than this. As usual Great review TM from head to toe to transformation.
