So Brown would fair better because Tatum’s replacement would likely be a better fit whereas Brown is likely better than whoever you can trade him for. If I ran the Celtics I would trade Tatum for AD in a heart beat. KP, AD, Brown, Holiday and White with Horford, Hauser, and Pritchard off the bench would be league domination.

Actually Ime wanted to the start of his first season. Brad and the staff put a stop to it and had the offense run through Tatum. It was mentioned a few times on the local sports radio stations. It's the same reason why ime was hoping Brown was going to sign with Houston as a free agent. If it wasn't for him getting all nba and be eligible for the max I'm pretty sure that's where he would have been.
