In highschool and college he played the same role. Distributor, game manager, floor spacer, defender. All of those skills transfer to the league. He’s saying it’ll be the same role, not same skill level.

The thing with Mike Conley is that Conley was already better in college coming into the league than Bronny is now. Conley led the Big 10 in assists per game while simultaneously averaging double digits ppg at Ohio State. If Bronny were as good a prospect as Conley was in college, then Bronny would be a certified first round pick and we wouldn't even be talking about the possibility of him ever playing in the G League.

Conley didn't suffer a heart attack and almost die on the practice court either. I understand the hesitation with Bronny because he doesn't have anything on tape showing his skillset. But it's two different things saying, "We didn't know how good he can be" versus "He's definitely not good enough" He didn't get the opportunity to put anything on tape due to the heart attack.

I genuinely think the spurs are the best for. He can learn under pop. Focus on defense & being a playmaker with wemby and eventually develop into a scorer. They have the best training facility in the league. High chance bron comes final years he loves pop and him wemby and a few pieces could really contend. He should be at best be a second round pick bc he can play defense and hit the 3 ! Already he’s a 3 and D pg prospect ! Will he actually develop the ability to handle and dominate the ball who knows bc his offense is too raw ! At his ceiling he could end up like a Jrue Holiday/Marcus Smart type player ! I think best fit is Dallas tbh bc he can play off ball offense space the floor and play defense and on the floor with Luka and Ky the only question will be can he be trusted as the third option with the ball in his hand !

I think you should compare Bronny to Rob Dillingham. Same position. Bronnie 6'1 200 and Rob 6'3 170. When you look at bronny's physique, he actually has a grown man body (pause). Although rob is more elite scoring, i believe bronny has the total package coming in. If Rob is projected top 15 i think bronny has great chance. I think he would be great for the Spurs for the long haul.

Agreed Emoni should’ve saw the court this year with the Cavs. I’m a Cavs fan. No he shouldn’t have started. However he was suppose to play some. Issac Okoro plays hard however he is an offensive liability. Struss is a 2 and Niang is 3-4 who’s a 3 point specialist. Emoni can create his own shot. He’s proven that. The Cavs struggle with players creating their own shit without Spida on the court. I think working Emoni in and letting him get comfortable with getting his shot off and being confident doing so def should’ve been in the plans this year. Disappointed it wasn’t and could be one of the reasons we let go of JB this year.

You can keep a draft pick on a regular contract and still send him to the g league. Jordan Walsh was in the g league about 98% of this season. He still just won a ring. 😂
