tama si CTC, ang laban sa Latvia parang warm-up lang muna, kung matalo man, bounce back! yung laban sa Georgia talaga ang pinaka crucial para pumasok sa cross-over, maliban na lang kung matalo ng PH ang Latvia at magka triple tie sa 1-1. Sa cross-over sakali mang makapasok, Brazil naman ang posibleng makaharap, mabigat din, merong Gui Santos ng GSW at yung Pereira ng Grizzlies na malaki din, tapos baka Latvia na naman sa finals. Hard road pero tiwala lang. Laban!

If the U.S has been beaten in the past with great players on their team- personally in my opinion we have great shot too of upsetting this latvia and why not after all ball is round right? We just have to let go this mindset that they are superior than us-basketball is a team sports after all. I believe we got a chance.

Two good things going for Gilas before our match against Latvia. Number 1, our coaching staff has done it's SCOUTING on this Latvian team by watching their first game, live & on videos. And they(coaching staff) can now devise ways on how to counter them on defense and offense, prior to their game. Number 2, Latvia will not have enough time to rest after their game against Georgia. Although they can still play at a high level even with the little time given them to recuperate before playing GILAS, i'm kinda doubtful if they could still play with the same 100% tenacity on offense & defense, high 3-point clip, etc. they showed in trashing Georgia. Most likely their 3-point percentage(team) will be lower or much lower than in their Georgia game. So in this scenario, i estimate their physical & mental efficiency to be around 85% to 95% maybe, but not 100%, coz a whole team needs minimum of 2 days to recover physically and mentally. I hope we could capitalize on this. Go Gilas!!!!

Latvia is a very strong team, kung titimbangin mo, parang impossible, pero bilog Ang bola. Anything can happen, if we hit those 3 points. Then we have a big chance to get even and beat them because we are strong at midrange and in the paints.
