@@rasonfrancis5068 he's a shit coach and shit coaches are worth less than star players. If some bench warmer did what Morant did nobody would sign them.
I dealt with a false termination and my union fought for me and I won, and the termination turned into a resignation and $2000 bag on top of that. Moral of the story is join a union.
Join a union is good advice, but no this is not any kind of false termination. You don't get to be a sex pest to your subordinates and get away with it.
Kapearnick was a free agent. To prove collision, the NFL and each team would have to turn over emails and meeting minutes. That’s why they settled and kept the terms confidential.
He was only not starting because of his contract when he restructured his contract he was starting. The guy who place he took is still a back up in the NFLs. Stop talking if you don't know
I hate when people have ZERO facts yet speak as if they're kicking all facts. Collusion does not require ALL 30 TEAMS. 2 or more makes it collusion. Then when speaking on his skill level/potential production, getting a job doesn't mean starting, Pro Bowl, All Pro caliber. He just has to be 1 of the 60-90 QBs in the league and that HE WAS at that time. Teams have actually played with WRs as the QB due to injury so I'd assume he was still better than any WR at QB🤷🤷
No he doesn't have to be one of the best 60-90 QBs. 1)he has to actually want to play football which he clearly didn't. People who want to play will go to lower leagues if they don't get signed and won't make a total mockery out of a tryout. He makes more money from Nike ,a company that uses sweatshop labor while he pretends to care about social justice than he would as a 3rd string QB. 2) teams don't want massive distractions in any sport and If someone is a distraction they better be a good or even great player. A backup or third string QB isn't worth the bullshit. We see this all the time in all sports. Guys who used to be really good but are bad teammates, in trouble all the time ,distractions etc have trouble getting jobs when they aren't that good anymore. Guys who are good teammates can stick around as backups for a very long time. Udonis Haslem is 100 years old and has been on the heat for 5-6 years where he barely payed bc he's a phenomenal locker room presence not some dipshit phony martyr who is gonna divide the locker room in half. One team played one game with a wide receiver at QB when 3 or 4 quarterbacks got covid at the last minute 4 years after Collin's last game. If you're referring to the NFC championship game most teams don't carry 3 QBs so Kaperbeck wouldn't have been on any roster anyway. Obviously any actual QB would be a better option than a wide receiver but the 49ers like most teams don't want to carry 3 QBs on the off chance 2 get hurt in the same game and would rather use the roster spot otherwise. him and 500 other guys would have been a better option that day after 2 people got hurt but they couldn't exactly bring any of them in mid game. But if that's your selling point "he's better than a wide receiver at QB" that's not gonna move the needle.
The best defensive player in your office is a good writer for a small group to get alot in and out for you to do that with you and your girl and your girl is the only person
Gil is spot on. I said the same thing about the Udoka situation. The Celtics handled it very poorly. Ime could have easily filed suit and won. Him getting another coaching job was a compromise that was more of a benefit to the Celtics than Ime.
I've been said that, u can't fire someone base of personal reasons. No matter if it's the private sector or public, the NBA is a business & every business in America has to follow labor laws & if they don't u can call the BBB=Better Business Bureau
Do your homework vlad Kap was not let go he waived his player option to get a new contract as a free agent and nobody picked him up entering his prime something wasn’t right lol
That’s is possible…but also allot jobs employee relationships cant miss up certain companies there are rules on that. even if the crushed GM wife and got fired you still could’ve find a job . it’s just those jobs already have coach’s positions filled up and he is a championship coach so I’m pretty sure he had to negotiate with couple teams for a right price but maybe 🤷🏾♂️
I don't buy his argument about the settlement, to the extent that it was simply for the remainder of his contract plus attorney's fees. They also had to consider what would come out in trial and their legal costs. The NFL has an image to protect.
🤦🏾♂️ Gil not getting that Ime was fired because he violated the contracted terms of employment is not surprising given how poorly his takes on the Ja situation has been. Contracts have clauses, violated them and you are penalized per the terms of the agreement. Celtics had a personnel conduct policy that prohibited the behavior that Ime was engaged in, hence his firing. The only thing that could be called petty is the fact that the Celtics released the reason for his termination to the public.
Well that’s how looked at it similar to what Gilbert said. It’s not a performance issue. It’s an I don’t like you issue. Ish like this happens in the corporate world. These C suite people need to stop pretending everyone is born yesterday…..
When you’re in Management it’s a no fraternization policy. Coaches also held to a higher standard for conduct. Infidelity with a member of the team is definitely grounds for dismissal. We never heard her account either.
@@keenanharris5248 was Phil Jackson reporting to Jeannie Buss? It most likely was Jim Buss or Mitch Kuptchak I believe. Jerry Buss passed away in 2013, he left the Los Angeles Lakers to his children and assigned them to continue his legacy. At that time, Jeanie Buss was appointed to run the business side of the team, while Jim Buss handled the operations department as the team's executive vice president.
Being fired from a regular job and a NBA coaching gig is two different things. Being fired from regular job you trying to get unemployment checks. NBA coaching gig you walk away with millions u set.
This must be an old video because the woman (staff assistant), her husband (non-Celtics employee) and some particulars of the case have been discussed.
Vlad doesn't know the facts of the CK issue. These is a quarterback that took his team to the Super Bowl in his first year as a starter. He was not a sorry QB. There were not 15 QBs better than him at the time. Also San Fran didn't fire him. He didn't take the deal they offered him because he could get a better deal somewhere else and it never happened.
It’s factual that Vlad doesn’t like CK probably cause he turned him down a interview. Vlad knows lil to nothing about sport in the 1st & 95% of ppl he’s act/interview about CK either don’t know what they talking about ( Gil) or Vlad knew b4 he talked to them that they also didn’t like CK ( Snapp & Wiley ).. Vlad has a nasty habit of attacking black men whom turn him down for interviews or don’t want to interview with him anymore.. And tries to get his some of his guests to pile on dissing whoever the person is he doesn’t like..
Men need to learn to fire these itches. And actually thank the man who let you know your wife or girlfriend is a garden tool. Don’t waste energy being mad at a another man. You should’ve checked that itch!
I am glad that Ime Udoka got another job in the NBA because the Celtics did him dirty even though he and that woman made a mistake by sleeping with each other but he got the worst of it in the end. And on a side note I have a you tube channel type in Russell Mills May 22, 2017 to find me.
I want people to understand this the last minute of what gil said is the reality factor. He got a job so he couldn't sue simple as that who he was fucking was a member of a powerful family that which would crush the reputation of that family if it were to get out simple as that
@@erictyre365 the last part about them getting a top three pick is Bs but if you said because of his resume I could agree but you see that nobody is talking about this anymore whoever that woman is the family of her husband or hers didn't want the media to get a hold of her name people were calling for it. For all we know he could of denied the whole thing ever to place and it would been he said she said
@@tommyfu9271 There's no proof of that they won't identify the woman so for all we know he was fired because he was black or because he cheated on his wife which no of these things are problems to begin with
@@IamSolidGold yea the racist Celtics hired a black coach then fired him bc they're racist not bc he fucked the owners wife and violated his contract. Then bc they're so racist they hired another black coach. Makes total sense! So racist! Amazing they can replace him with another black coach and people like you will still play the race card after what he did.
Gilbert 100% wrong on this 1. He got another job because of his success of the nba finals the previous season. I ain’t saying he the best of the best but a year before record wise he was 1 of the best.
