i've been wanting to cover this song for a while, and i figured it would be a great way to end of 2022. since a lot of people like to ring in the new year by staying up 'til midnight on new year's eve, this song kind of fits, as the singer is looking for a man "after midnight" (it's a reach yeah but it's there lol).

This is officially my second favorite version. First favorite is Xiao Zhan and it's in Mandarin. He's my favorite actor and that's to do with a lot of it. Just like to mention that when I found this I haven't listened to the original song in a while, so forgot what it originally sounded like. Well out of curiosity some week or two after finding your version I looked to the original, and I can say with full confidence that I love your version so much more, it is just perfect. I cannot stress how much of a perfect work I feel this is.
