my name is justine and i'm a 22 year old queer filipino vocalist based in the US. on my channel i post all sorts of song covers, from songs that come from things i personally enjoy (i.e. tv shows/movies, video games, fav musicians) to songs that i project my own original characters onto.
i don't really have an upload schedule, i just upload whenever i can afford to. ♥

Okay, I know this is a niche reference, but does this song make anyone else think of An Inspector Calls? Like, the first verse is Eva, the second is Sheila, and then they come together in the end.
I know this is over a year old, but I wanted to say that the grit and almost accent you put into the words is really unique and honestly makes this my favorite cover for this song I've heard! It makes the song sound a bit more...personable? Like the singer is a real person, is what I mean. It's a really cool effect!
This is just a stupid idea that I made but if it doesnt work just help me know, its one of my discarded ideas. Its based off an apocryphal book, the book of enoch and the song is my blood from ellie goulding and it is like a flashback to ancient italy, since your stories are set in 16th century italy and I think it could be used as a way to connect the events, the first event. The story in this cover would center around a watcher of the heavens who, upon descending, fallen with a mortal that's the og book and they also orchestrated the other demon species through half giant, half spirit children and it could be about mourning since the mortal woman here is coerced and forced by her watcher spouse who is a fallen angel to orchestrate the rest of the demon species and to remain the witch of the generations, haunting one of the towers.

The story in this cover would center around a watcher of the heavens who, upon descending, fallen with a mortal that's the og book and its like the mortal girls were traded into wives of the watchers for more advanced technology, forming the dark knowledge around the ancient italian gods and these watchees were destroyed in a flood as well as not only guiltless about "love" for mortals but they actually orchestrated other previous abonimation species such as the Nephilim which led to races of demons etc. These watchers also served as the empire traders and empire builders as they traded technology and rose to godlessness and that might be a myth of the succubi. Now, the song would center around the mortal woman who was the orchestrator and was forced to orchestrate by her watcher husband or wife immense destruction. Also, the watchers are fallen angels here and it could be used to connect as the first plot but again, just opinion

This popped up in my recommended feed, and holy hell. This is probably my favorite rendition I've heard of the song so far. Especially that growl at about 1:59. Shivers.
