Jack Drago it is widely used in the central Philippines in the Visayas. It is the official sword of the Philippine Marine Recon units. Most of the blade work is learned with the stick so any espada y daga training can utilize the Ginunting. Many Pekiti Tirsia practitioners taught by Grand Tuhon Leo Gaje Jr. handle the use of this weapon.
