Swords are for war. In civil unrest or some war on our land in America I plan to use this. I own 2 Filipino swords from Philippines and practices with them. Along with my guns I keep them by my bed in case of home invasion.

Before Guns came to Philippines, different Filipino tribes are genius on using their own weapons. Sad to say that it almost vanish when Spaniards, Americans, and Japanese occupation started. Tribes such as Juramentados, head hunters of Mountain province and many more tribes that vanished because of the war has their own techniques on how to use their weapons. Glad to see that this organization is preserving our very own culture of combined traditional combat style.

I don't agree that there is no block. You can block but in those case you don't have to. Sword VS sword you will block.

Filipino martial arts are really awesome👌🏾. Ive been studying them for about a year and a half now, and i love how quick and decisive the techniques can be. I'm curious to see how they could be applied to a fighter with a longsword or rapier. Basically, against an agile, longer bladed weapon where you can't get to their hands as easily.

Traditionally can you use a karambit with the sword? I've been learning to dual wield with tomahawk and bowie knife, but Filipino way of the blade looks very formidable I must learn some of it
