Once again, putting my actual name in the title is strange. HOLY COW, YOU GUYS! It's been almost a whole year since 'Shadows & Smoke' was released and I'm just now posting the second lyric video! I'm productive as heck. Clearly.
I really hope you guys enjoy! And thank you for all of the support for Shadows & Smoke over the past year. I still can't believe people actually downloaded it. It blows my mind. Thank you so so so much for everything. I hope to have more stuff for you guys this coming year!

This is why I love Percabeth so much. House of Hades was certainly a daunting chapter of their lives too, going to Hell and back, and this pretty much sums up their stronger relationship.

“If I tell you I love you, will dying be sweeter for us?” ~The song “Annabeth presses her lips to Percy’s ear. “I love you” She wasn’t sure he could hear her-but if they died, she wanted those to be her last words.” ~Annabeth in House of Hades When I heard that part I automatically thought to the part where Annabeth told Percy I love you because that’s what she wanted her last words to be if they died. Most likely what the artist was referring to, but I wanted to share in case others might have missed it.

If you’re sad about that then you should remember that Percy never even heard the “I love you”. If they died Annabeth’s last unheard words would be I love you.

Not only was this absolutely amazing, I feel like it summed up everything you read in The House of Hades about Percy and Annabeth's trip through Tartarus. Reminds me of that time Percy said his mom swore Annabeth was the only reason he was alive, right before they met Nico and Bianca and in more ways than one, Sally was right.

So at first I thought this was in Percy's perspective, but when you said it was in Annabeth's the song just became that much more real to me. We normally think of Percy as the powerful, brave one, but sometimes forget the importance of Annabeth. If it wasn't for her, he defiantly would have gone insane in Tartarus, but Annabeth stayed strong for him

It’s totally true. She had to save him from the river of misery. If annabeth hadn’t have been there he would have died within the first minutes.

@@madeleinestrandberg5163 If he did die that quickly then Annabeth wouldn't be far behind since she was still healing and had no weapon to fight with till she met Damasen. Likely Arachne would be the one to kill her, since Percy was the only one of them who noticed and had the speed to kill her before she could hurt Annabeth in the original storyline (Not my opinion Annabeth herself comments on it).

This is my favorite Rick Riodan book. And i love the line “I would give anything to ease the panic in your eyes”, I assume that was Annabeth. Percy would have gone insane without her, and he was on the brink.

I think the follow my voice thing works from Annabeth's POV if you think of when they first fell into the river and 'blackened waves' were on them and she had to use her voice to get him swimming.

I’ve been listening to this off of Shadows & Smoke on Spotify and had no clue it was a fan song!!! It was in my recommended today and I had the stark realization of, “oh shit, this is percabeth!!!” I think that’s what sets a lot of your fansongs apart; they’re good songs before anything else. You can enjoy them without knowledge of the original media, but once you make the connection the song only gets better

I'm late, but I'm so glad I stumbled apon this song as house of hades was my introduction to the series thanks to an aunt of mine who didn't know house of hades was part of a series. I didn't understand a lot, but it was still a emotional journey and was a bigger one after I actually read the books in order.

This has been one of my favorite songs for a long time. A VERY long time. Whenever I'm upset I turn it on full volume. My friends moan because they're so sick of hearing it every single day. I love all of your songs!!!! Especially this one (Into the Darkness), Child of Death and Sunshine Boy. Atths moment, I had an empty wrapping paper tube which I pretend is a guitar and I lip sing all of the lyrics. :'). You are truely inspirational because you actually inspired me to want to learn the guitar and sing, so I'm planning on buying my first ever guitar soon so I can replace the wrapping paper tube!
