Bireli is KICK ASS with a Kapital K! Here we find the Maestro in his prime delivering unthinkable musical lines while salting them with his still youthful exuberance and mischievous approach to music! A real treasure.
Oh guys you make my heart sing all of you just fabulous musicianship. Thank you 😁👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺Save the world from globalist shill governments real diverse cultures in their lands not blanded out to a coffee colored world without strong culture and love for one's land and ancestors.
When i lived in France in Nancy i met a lot of gypsy they invited me to their parties i remember a guy named Eddy such a good musician shout-out to all the Gypsy of Nancy
Couple of years i came across to Marouche Jazz. I am a hardcore Techno lover, but this comes close to that feeling i had when i first heard a gabber song. Thank you! Forever in my heart!
First time I've heard of Bireli Lagrene and I'm blown away. Violinist is amazing and the rhythm section is rock solid. Fantastic musicians, thanks for sharing.

he was spotted in Bucarest, decades ago he was so fat, it was out this realm to see fatty fingers running on such a small instrument.... but he was Florin already.. and he played with Boulou & Elios Ferre... if ou wanna listent ot he best re interpretation of 'Nuages', listen to them.. best entry point into 2000 and Reinhardt !!
I keep coming back to this concert and just when I think I couldn't possibly love it anymore than I already do, I hear something that I didn't quite pick up before that makes me love it even more. The lineup is just so incredibly talented, diverse, and brilliant. Each musician individually is fantastic. Together, they are unmatched and probably unmatchable.
I really think that Djanjo and Mr. Grappelli would be honored by your music. Excellent music and your skills are out of this world. Bravo and thank you for sharing it with us.
Bireli, Django, tanto monta... Gracias por existir !!! Merci pour exister !!!
I just sent this video to my son he can really play alot of tunes like this so glad I found this video because it reminds me of his playing and talent level ,awesome playing Guys!!!
Absolutely impeccable concert! Saw Dorado Schmidt in concert a little while back, and there's something about these musicians where they really know how to put in a show. They understand performance as an art!
I was introduced to Birelli Laverne through the music of Stefan Grappelli. That was many years ago and I am so happy that the tradition lives on through there and other fine musicians. Thank you for sharing this video performance of these fine artists
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ You carry me through the most challenging computer work when I am feeling low---I so love all of you. My brain, my heart, my sensibilities all so love your sound, dexterity, artistry, and messages and I was saddened to hear of the passing of musicians. We are all so lucky to have this and other of your videos to lift our spirits.
Just an incredible performance. Laid back but extremely high performance at the same time. Bireli' is playing tops but so down to earth it's inspiring. All the other perfromers are giving an excellent perfromance,
Can't keep my mouth shut! Man! That third guitarist that came in on "I'll See You in My Dreams", another out of this world player. Love all these old standards, too bad the women my age and younger don't find the same beauty as I do in these old tunes.
Made me smile, that :-) There are people of all ages who love this stuff ~ I suspect that most people just haven't heard (or felt) it yet ~ I sure wish I'd heard it earlier in my life, it makes life wonderful Many have though ~ I see them at gigs in some of the most seemingly unlikely places. If you follow the musical bouncing ball I'm sure you'll eventually find more than enough of them will show up along the way. The mind of a person who appreciates the intricacies of this music is, in my opinion, a marvel ~ as this is such fun music to share ~ bon appetit :-)
You make me smile too Justine! Music like this (despite everything else I have going for me) adds that needed cherry on top of my sundae. Now if your prepared, hold on to your hat and listen to a few cuts by Harry Roy and his Band on You Tube.
these guys are true bebopers with a gypsy soul, AWESOME CONCERT bursting with talent, Birelli, Stochelo Angelo, everybody on that stage is overdelivering !!
Emotions and motivation and empathetic in these artists. Its a joy to listen and to watch how they live it even after many, many performances a new. They are the music pieces the not just play it. Thank you very much for making the video available.
my grandfather got me into gypsy jazz being gypsy himself, that was 10 years ago when i was 8, now im 18 and there hasnt been a day i dont play gyspy jazz on my guitar or listen to it!
Without going back through all the posts, if I didn't mention, I feel this is the finest performance of the European greats performing together of the time...
